I own a powerbook g4 myself. to get the sound into the computer u will need a firewire interface. this connects directly to your macs firewire port and is the fastest way to get audio from your synths into the computer. the firewire interfaces u should be looking at are: 1.motu 828mk2 or 896 2.rme f...

voyager editor
i would like to congratulate moog and the voyager editor programmers for their efforts. although i have yet to try the editor as i am a mac user, i would like to say the following in response to some previous posts. the editor is a great idea and i feel its worth the asking price alone just for the ...

more fixes?
i'm still waiting for moog to incorporate octave up and down functions as i used to use them all the time on my source and miss them on gigs badly. they replied to me saying they are looking into it. octave up and down are standard performance controls on nearly every synth so its strnage these were...

noise/hiss on notes
i used to own a voyager performer that had this particular problem. never found out what caused it but it really annoyed me so i sent it back 2 days after purchase in the uk. it was definitely faulty though i'm not saying yours is. since then i have bought an anniversary model and its like a complet...

seems there a couple weeknesses in the voyagers interface that i have only now discovered after a month of owning the beast. the first as mentioned in another topic is the lack of octave up and down switches which are essential for quick octave changing. i really hope this can be addressed somehow! ...

light control placement
u guys are missing the point. mounting the light control would add more labour costs for moog as the metal case would have to be altered specially for the a.e. i can't understand why there is even an issue about the light control. who says that all controls placed near the keyboard should be perform...

voyager light control
the light control is placed perfectly if u ask me. it doesn't look ugly, it functions well and its position means moog didn't have to alter the case metalwork. they couldn't have done it any better. purists may differ but i want the voyager to sound and look great and it does both better than any ot...

voyager/software emulations
i agree that this topic is a difficult one, but i will say hands down that i prefer hardware to software.sure, some of the software synths sound great in their own right but compare any software with the equivalent hardware and i have yet to be convinced. theres some way to go until i would consider...
