MF-102 LFO mod?
Has anyone messed around with increasing the range of the LFO to a wider range, or even up to the same range as the oscilators on the Voyager? I got the impression in talking to Amos the other day that it might be possible. Tomorrow I plan to pull out the scope and the iron and see what I can get go...

Poor Man's VX units?
Has anyone messed around with attempting to make their own VX units? I know that there is normally a little daughterboard inside the Moog that you add in to stop cross oscilation on the ribbon cable which would have to be taken care of, but that's just a handful of resistors i think. I am dying for ...

Poly fun with the Voyager! (additional tools required)
A few fun things that you can do with a Voyager (Haven't gotten to try them yet, as I don't have the VX/CP units, but soon... and they should work great!) that actually makes it a single oscilator, 3 voice poly synth! If you have a Midi -> CV convertor, such as those from Doepfer, or Kenton, then yo...

If you have a Voyager and the CV output option, then for additional modulars all you need is, well, modules (and their respective racks and power supplies). Traditionally for a modular, yes, you would have to get oscilators, filters, etc... however you already have all that on your Voyager! Pretty n...

Kinda.. but missing the point
First of all, while yes it does have presets/banks and recallability, this machine isn't really about the 'presets' as it is about the sound. Most of us here would be pretty happy if 'all' we had was a MiniMoog Model D (which the only preset it has, is whatever you set it to when you last turned the...

Ok, i figured out PART of the pitch bend thing, but it's not accurate at all. I'm using the Pitch Bend source in the Pot Map pages, but it only offers 0/25/50/100 percentages for the amount effected. Maybe just making that in single step increments would do the trick. AND it seems that as of 3.2 and...

Variable glide/pitch bend per oscilator? Possible Moog Mod?
One of my favorite things to do with my Sidstation (yes a totally different beast, but still), is to set the glide to each oscilator to be slightly different (it's 3 oscilators as well, albiet each with it's own amp env and other fun controls), so that when i'm playing lines it's almost like 3 music...

What happened to that one?
I wonder what happened to the prototype one? Moog still have it? Scrapped for parts? Perhaps it wasn't functional even? It seems that the front panel arrangement changed a lot with the addition of the screen and the touchpad. Can the LFO actually do 4 waveforms? There's the tri/saw/sineish one, and ...

Lucky for me
Lucky for me, my sister lives in Ashville and i'm moving back to NC soon, so i'll go visit her and take a trip over to Moog... get a tuneup, 3.0 upgrade, a few questions answered, have it looked at for the known pitchbend problems on the Signatures, and get this one. All in one nice trip.

Moog Speaker system?!?!
Didn't moog make a speaker system in the early 80's just for the moog synths? I remember it advertising that it shouldn't go through guitar amps, and that this system would have the widest freq range.

I'll not be getting one. The voyager does the Moog sound pretty well of course and I would rather get a larger sound pallet than just more Moog sound. Next major synth purchase that's coming my way is a modular, and the next minor purchase is the CP/VX combo and a few moog pedals. I'll have to think...

Trade MF-101 for MF-102 Ring mod?
Does anyone here want to trade their ring mod for the lowpass filter? I got a voyager recently and feel that the ring mod would be a more useful expansion than running it through yet another filter (or perhaps i'm missing something and i'm nuts).
