Mod wheel to control volume not working

I'm trying to route The On/Mod2 -> PGM (Osc 1 Level) and turning down the oscil volume all the way (and turning amount all the way up). I've tried using a Shaping offset and that doesn't do the trick. I'd like to basically be able to (for a theremin like sound that I have on the touch screen) be abl...

I'm actually thinking (if they haven't actually done it) working on a polyphonic sustainer guitar. There's two ways to approach it imho 1) Have saddle piezos picking up the sounds. These feed back to separate inductors on each string. You'd want to have a band pass filter that's somewhat tuned for e...

I'm pretty happy with this. I hope that the street price is less than the MSRP. I got my Voyager Sig for 2200, and a Blue for 2200 as well. Without midi/touchscreen I'd hope to actually find one for 1500. That would make me happy. Still wish they basically made a rack mount one of this that was dead...

What is your reading on it via a scope/multimeter? Output voltages? Noise on the scope? Can you test it a little more and see how much current you can pull from it easily?

That would help a lot.

You eBay folks are trying to sell for too high

I've noticed that on eBay that people are constantly, nonstop, trying to sell Voyagers for way too damn much money. A Signature edition just finished there for around $1600USD. Why people try to sell Electric Blue ones STARTING AT $3200USD + shipping is beyond me. I bought an Electric Blue one from ...

I've kicked around the idea in my head to get an LP for taking 'out', and leaving my Signature edition at home (as it was hard enough to find this one!). However, i think I'll just get an RME or plain Voyager instead. The plain Voyagers imho don't cost THAT much more used (and this one could be ugly...

I'm just curious what you think it would affect? Magnetic fields that we encounter on a daily basis have almost zero effect on most electronics. The reason that your 2nd grade computer teacher told you to keep the 5 1/4" floppy disks away from speakers is because they were magnetic storage disk...

So what's this new product(s)?

I just got an email from Moog earlier this evening: We're flying to Anaheim in the morning. The gear is all packed, the signs and flyers have been printed... ...that means New Gear Announcements are just a few days away. Keep your eyes on the Moog Music website... www.moogmusic.com Some amazing new ...

They should make a new filter. Well, kinda new. They should (imho) make a transistor ladder filter out of tubes instead of transistors. It would probably have to be a 2-3U space rack unit to get a 4-pole filter going (mono) but it would be pretty freaking sweet at the end of the day. Either that or ...

If he thinks he's totally blown it, I'll take it off his hands. I haven't found any piece of gear so far that I was unable to fix really, so it should be fine for me. It would help him with money, and help me get a cheaper freqbox

Are there drugs involved here? The explanation is totally unclear. I'm not sure what's happening. What is a 24DB power supply? I have never seen one measured in DB (do you mean DBu? Even that is a super odd measurement for a power supply) A 14volt power supply shouldn't have been too much? 14V gener...

No Moog @ AES?

I just got back from AES and Moog wasn't there.

I know Bob used to go back in the day. Why doesn't Moog attend anymore?

To their credit, I didn't see Buchla there either :D

But, if you had to pull out a tool to tell the difference vs using your ears, then there's no audible difference- so what's the point?

No, not possible. Not going to happen. Physically opening it up and tuning it isn't that hard.
