Kind of a zoned-out meditative drone piece that I recorded with the Voyager and my Monotribe, running through the EHX Cathedral.

I also am deeply satisfied with the Cathedral. I have nothing negative to say about it. It is beautiful and pristine and lovely and perfect. Buy a cathedral.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

ColorForm, I'm having trouble accessing your track. SoundCloud says: "Oh no! We can't find that track!" Not sure what the deal is. Want to listen though! I released my second solo album under my Glacier Academy project. I called it "Folk Tales from the Irish Countryside", because...

Re: Arturia MinimoogV vs. Official Moog Apps Vs. Hardware

Yes, I have used both software emulations of Moog synthesizers as well as real Moog hardware. The software sounds good, but it does not sound like an actual Moog.

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

http://greatklipps.bandcamp.com/album/live-cause-spirits-sound-bar-120213 I played an improvised set of experimental music with some guys about a week ago. I used the Voyager OS through an EHX Cathedral. It was my first time playing live in about a year, and I had a blast. The download link says &q...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!

Korg Monotribe and a Volca Bass A friend of mine and I are putting together a new project, and I decided to put together a minimalist liver performance rig to force myself to think a little differently than I normally do. This is what I ended up with (These aren't all "new", but most of th...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

John L Rice is the next Trent Reznor.

John, I may have asked you this once before, but I can't remember: is there anywhere we can purchase your music? I'd really love to have some of your stuff on my iPod.

Re: My desire, the evolution of the Sub Phatty...

I didn't mean for my comment to get the thread hijacked . The Prodigy I played must have used the plastic keys, it felt worse than both Stage one and two Phatty keybeds. Can anyone comment on the feel of the Sub when compared to the Phatty? With so few keys it would be nice if they at least p...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

Hi! I just saw the OP. Some very cool stuff posted on this thread. I thought, even though I'm a bit late to the party, I'd post one of mine. All bass sounds done on a CP300 controlled Minitaur. Hope you enjoy! Cheers! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OIYkHDOsnfE AJB Wow that was stressful! I imagine ...

Re: sampler question

Yeah, the iPad is useful all right, but the thing about that is, it's only going to last you 3-4 years if you treat it nice. Buy an actual piece of hardware and you'll have it for five, ten, twenty years.

Re: sampler question

People trash talk the Electribe line all the time, but for me they have always been very easy to use and intuitively laid out. They also have their own kind of sound, sort of lo-fi and grainy. I would stick to what you've got, unless you have a specific reason why you don't want to use the Electribe...

Re: New product to replace LP?

I would love to see a sub with an extended 37 or 44 note keyboard. I love the flexibility of the sub, but I just can't do 25 keys. Same deal with the Minibrute. I had to sell it because playing it was just too frustrating.
