Re: sub37 version 1.1 release date?
It would probably be wise to have both a SysEx and app based update if at all possible. This would alleviate any complaints about OS support or software bugs that might accompany the new update app. Personally I've had no issues with the current update model but I'd hate to think that myself or othe...

Re: Sub 37 feature suggestions - firmware updates
Hey all ... new to the party. Only had my Sub 37 a month and still sorting it out. My top priority requests are redundant but want to add another vote. Sorry if my understanding of existing features is not complete. 5. For newbies like me to not let the daw turn local control off as a default at le...

Sub37 Editor/Plugin
Any word on this? It's been over a year since Moog announced that one would be available with the synth. Many authorized retailers still make the claim "includes a free standalone/plugin editor that is compatible with all major plugin formats". I love this synth but I sure love to have tha...

I'd move in a heartbeat for that job. Asheville is a terrific town. Hell, I'd take half my current salary if it meant I could work on projects like the Sub37.

Re: 2.0 firmware details
The biggest changes are 1. the ability to set modulation destinations simply by moving the destination control instead menu diving 2. The ability to route incoming CV to more destination sources 3. Enhancements to the sequencer. I'll leave those details to someone else. That first one is going to sa...

Re: If you have a bunch of cool patches and then update firm
Updating firmware will NOT overwrite patches. However, if you invest a lot of time in designing patches, it is always a good idea to have a backup. The process is fairly simple once you understand it. It is important to understand that the Sub37, like many instruments saves the position where a patc...

Re: Sub 37 - Questions
With the preset loaded, simply save it to a new location. During the save process you'll be prompted for location (bank / preset)BadTicket wrote:I have a simple question, but really don't find an answer: How can I copy a preset to an other preset location?

Re: meanwhile...
I'm hoping the new CV input routing works similar to the mod destination routing in that it only requires turning the destination knob to create the routing. It's always tough working with long lists in a short menu. There are really only a couple more things I'd like to see but I'm not going to com...

Sub 37 NRPN Issues
Has anyone else experienced problems sending NRPNs to the Sub 37. I've got my keyboard controller configured to send NRPNs to do some things like ARP ON/OFF, ARP LATCH ON/OFF, FILTER TYPE and more. Every one of the commands works as it should but after a session in which I send more than a couple of...

Waiting...waiting...waiting.
This really shouldn't have been advertised with the product. You still have authorized dealers with descriptions that imply it is included.

Re: Sub-37 Editor beta version
Pardon my ignorance on the matter (I've never written an editor/librarian) but can't you accomplish the same the with the published CC's? It would seem easier to me than parsing a sysex string anyway. What am I missing? If you want to load all patch parameters into a computer, you need SysEx. If yo...

Re: Sub-37 Editor beta version
Sorry, but could not agree MORE with MOOG!! You people come across as self-entitled children than anything else. You apparently do not grasp what the word "proprietary" means. Open Source is not a common practice with any self-respecting instrument maker. Buy a Mutable Instruments...

That reminds me I emailed and never got my hard copy of the manual? Have others received theirs?
I got pencils and couple of others with mine. Frankly all I really wanted was the synth (and the manual).

Re: Moog Sub 37 fw update 1.0.6 failed
If you hate C6 there are other programs you can use to send the Sysx. I use MIDI OX on Windows 7 - 64 without problems.
