Re: Timbres and Patch Sharing
To answer your question, I have iOS synth patch banks for free and for sale at synthpatcher.com, and some are included with the synths (iVCS 3, for example), but this will be the first Animoog bank that I will release. It will be free. It should be available early next week. I think there are some ...

Re: iOS 7.1.2 on iPad and Animoog for iPhone
Hi Gunther. Why not try Animoog for iPad on your iPad 2? While Animoog has not been updated for over a year now, it does work fine even on the old iPad 2s. Good luck! -- Alex

Re: Timbres and Patch Sharing
If I'm not mistaken, patches with missing timbres will just not play silence for the missing timbres. Since patches are made of several timbres, it means the patch will still make sound, just not the full sound you'd hear if the user had all the required timbres. If I'm wrong (I might well be, I hav...

Re: Timbres and Patch Sharing
I'm not sure if I understand your question properly. If you install presets for which you don't have all the required timbres, then yes, they will not "sound correct". Unless I'm mistaken, they are not substituted by 'default' timbres, there is no such thing as 'default timbres' in Animoog...

Re: Animoog wish list
Wow. I forgot another 'important' potential improvement for Animoog... here it is (added to the web page): with two rows of keyboard input, playing two different Animoog presets on the same screen becomes possible. When Animoog was launched, iPads and iPhones were far from delivering as much perform...

Re: Animoog wish list
Make it open source! Ah! That's a topic very dear to me. You successfully made me write way too many words about that. Here's the post: http://animoog.org/2014/06/11/open-sourcing-animoogs-code/ It's a bit long so I won't copy it here, but you can react to it either in this forum's post or on the b...

Re: Animoog wish list
Thanks for the feedback! With it, I significantly improved the initial wish list. The post about the improvements: http://animoog.org/2014/05/31/update-animoog-wish-list/ And one of major items I forgot in the initial version is this section: **** Presets and tracks transfer and sync **** ** Getting...

Re: Animoog controller that emulates key touch position?
If you find any related info elsewhere, please let us know! I would seriously consider buying such a controller! - What would be essential for this controller is a 'flat surface'. The iPad's flat surface allows us to slide fingers in all directions, allowing us to do nice x-axis slides in Animoog. P...

Re: DIY Timbres for Animoog
Thanks & done! The timbres are now also found on http://animoog.org/database/timbres/ Let me know if you see potential improvements to that page. Cheers -- AlexChrisco wrote: The waveforms are licensed under the creative commons license, so you are free to do as you please with them.

Re: DIY Timbres for Animoog
Hi Chrisco,
That's super! Would you allow me to host those wonderful timbres over Animoog.org for anyone to access for the foreseeable future?
Thanks! -- Alex

Re: Sequencing Animoog performances on a single iPad
Hi Badbark, Sadly, no. An iPad sequencer that fully support Animoog (including polypressure) is the main thing missing as far as I'm concerned. It's also the very first element in the wish list here: http://animoog.org/playing/wish-list/ Once I'll find a solution, my scream of happiness will be hear...

Animoog wish list
Dear fellow Animoog fans, let me share with you this 'Animoog improvements wish list'. It's located here: http://animoog.org/playing/wish-list/ but since I have no intention of forcing you to visit this site, here's a current copy of the content below. Yeah, I know, a large 'Animoog wish list' discu...

Announcing Animoog.org !
I love what Animoog allows us to create and explore. Here's what I'd like to become a community-driven website for everything Animoog-related: Animoog.org To learn more about the project, read the announcement: http://animoog.org/2014/03/14/launching-animoog-org/ and take a look at the welcome page:...
