Re: Novation UltraNova any threat to Phatty?
I think UltraNova is like Korg R-3, that is not so cool - the sound is dull and plastic. VA devices like Clavia Nord Lead or Access Virus are much better and they can be a rivals to analog synths like Moog, but cheap things like UltraNova or R3 will not compare. And I think that all these embedded v...

Re: Just got a CP-251 for my LP, what next ?
I think of MP-201 Multi-Pedal and MF-105M MIDI MuRF.
MP-201 is great to control not only moogs by CV, but all other midi gear via DIN and software via USB midi
and MF-105M is a killer filter animator which i dream to apply to each and every audio out socket in my home studio :^)

Re: Enjoy The Silence bass on LP Stage II
:) I think it is unreal since I am not Mr. Wilder and have no other gear they used on 'Violator' :) I've read somewhere that the choir chords are 'Emulator Choir' sample. Have no idea which other gear they used on this song. My attempt to re-create this bassline is just a way of getting know my LP b...

Re: Enjoy The Silence bass on LP Stage II
Yes, I added a little reverb in ableton after recording audio sequence from moog.
The filter is modulated by velocity.
None other delays and octave shifters.
I'll try to find a way to record sysex to ableton midi part...

Enjoy The Silence bass on LP Stage II
Well folks I just tried to re-create the famous bass sequence from Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy The Silence' on my Little Phatty Stage II. This is it: http://tagirov.net/gear_test/ets-bass-lp.mp3 Sorry, I don't have software editor to share the preset with you. But if there is any alternate way, let me kno...

Re: Velocity control to volume of the notes?
Good news. Today I got a reply from Moog to my message about velocity issue: Hi Ruslan- There is certainly a plan to add that feature in a future firmware update, but I cannot say at this point which firmware upgrade will have this and/or when that upgrade will actually happen. There is a plan to ha...

Re: Velocity control to volume of the notes?
I think we need a kind of remapping of velocity to some controller.
Maybe it can be realized by Max/MSP, Puredata or smth like this.
shoud try
And i think the velocity to volume should behave before the filter, not the final amp.
