Not to go backwards a bit, but has anyone heard the Juno 106 synth? If so, what kind of sounds can it make? It is worth looking at for about $400? I looked it up on Vintagesynth.com, and it's 6 voices with midi. Look here: http://www.synthmania.com/juno-106.htm J106s are lovely synths, and you can ...

the circuit boards are most likely produced in batches, because Moog does not ship hundreds of synths per week. But a pcb-board company does them by hundreds per week. And running a line at a non constant fast rate would cause a loss of money. This is interesting. SO... If Moog introduces a new lin...

Moog Factory
I just saw a very interesting video tour of the DSI factory. Does anyone know if there's anything like that for Moog?
I assume Moog does all of its manufacturing in-house. How automated is it? Is the LP line the only product that uses SMT?

I had a NL2X that belonged to a friend in my studio for a couple of weeks. I played it a fair bit and liked it a lot. It's a really well-designed and laid-out board. It is a great, bright, biting synth. It does not -- to my ears -- sound like an analog synth. I prefer analog polys for most pads, tho...

I've never heard the JX-10. I'm sure it's pretty hard to find. I checked out the Prophet 08 the other day, and it sounded good. I didn't have a chance to check out how it sounds on pads. Did the Prophet 08 sound modern to you or like an old analog synth from the 80's? Thanks! Actually, they turn up...
