Re: Any Minimoog owners that also really like the Little Pha

Love my LPTE, Model D, Voyager(SE) and Minitaur. Each has it's own use and sound. Each can have many of the qualities of the other and then it's own. There will be times when I’ll just play the Voyager(s) and LP and the D is not even turned on. There are also times when all are fired up and I’ll use...

Re: New Videocamera, New Sequence

If the audio going to your monitors is disortion free the only level you need to worrry ab yout is what is feeding the Canon. Should be mic level. the Canaon you have I think run it in "Simple" mode a mode that allows more fexibility, In this mode if it like mine if you press function a me...

Re: New Videocamera, New Sequence

Looks okay. Audio is just a tad hot, not yet distorted but getting close. What camera and how are you feeding the audio in ? What is the audio input connection ? If it is a mini there is a trs to two mono female mini's that works very well. Do you have manual level control ? If so, like when recordi...

Re: This is what I did with my Minimoog today...

Info on the net shows the GX-1 alone is about 680 pounds, the pedals add another 80. Each of the Tone ( Speaker) cabinets are about 310 pounds each... A few of the users ( Keith Emerson for one ) did not use Yamaha's speakers with it or the pedals. The GX-1 can make some great sounds. Very few made,...

Re: Tell us about your rig

I have the draw tablet for the S50, honestly you can do the same thing with the mouse on the 550 with some practice, the tablet is "okay". The CD/HD require a SCSI card that Roland sold just for the 550. It is real picky on the SCSI CD drive hooked up to it, SCSI hard drives it's not to pi...

Re: Tell us about your rig

The S550 is still a nice samler, looking at the photo it appears you do not have the exteranl hard drive or CD Drive ? The S50 keyboard Is also nice but does not have as much memory and does not have the filter. Roland has a conversion program ( free) that would allow you to load samples for the 550...

Re: CP-251 Power problem - no LED

What was else was the adapter used for ? does it still work on that or did you buy it just for the CP 251 ? I’ve had wall warts go bad on occasion, either the plug that goes into the device or the transformer section. I had one for the Fooger go up a few years ago, the cable going into the connector...

Re: What do all you 'foogers think of the DSI Prophet?

For ME the display is not a problem, could it be larger. sure. The multi function knobs also for ME make sense, it would have added too much cost and space to have each individual. But I can understand some not liking it and that's fine. :) I guess it's from all those years programming a DX7 I don’t...
