Re: A fully analog sequencer from Moog - that's what I want.

I've been waiting for a month now to take delivery of my Voyager. Bought from Guitar Center (told me it would be a four to six day wait) and then they emailed me that it was on back order. So, over the last month, I have been researching which sequencer I want to get. I have narrowed it down to the...

Re: Sub 37: how to re-create the sound from Any Colour You L

I'm not interested in the exact sound . I'm just curious if someone knows how to re-create an approximation of this sound on the Sub37 partially as a conversation piece, but also to learn a little more about how to intentionally go about understanding how to re-create sounds. Daniel Fisher does an ...

Re: Sub 37: how to re-create the sound from Any Colour You L

I am interested in how to re-create the synth lead sound* from Pink Floyd's classic Any Colour You Like. I know there is some sort of delay, maybe a tape delay. Other than that, the closest I have found in forums etc. to getting the sound is to have two square-wave oscillators, one an octave up fro...

Re: Share your synthesizer music!

This is a rough improvised track I did today for a new project I recently started called "Science Patrol". Instruments used: DSI Mono Evolver Keyboard, Moog Sub 37 and Moog Theremini. I started this project specifically for a live performance I'm doing next month in Portland Oregon at the ...

Re: NAMM 2015

There will be many great things this year. You mean... Moogwise?.. I think he meant in general. NAMM is reporting that synth manufacturers have double the floor space this year because business is booming. A lot of companies will be showing a lot of new (and retro old) things; the Korg ARP Odyssey ...

Re: Moog to release modules this year

I'm new around here though, is suggesting a Moog digital delay heresy? In full disclosure, I have a mf104m and love it dearly. Well they do make apps for the Apple palmtops. No analog in those. Just don't start a thread to ask if Moog will ever make an analog p*lyph*n*c... The Moog Theremini is dig...

Ohhh, the hate, the vitriol, the burn ... Chill out dudes. Nobody's stating anything as fact around here . I'm just passing on the information as it comes down the pike. All your well-founded fears are... well... well-founded. Anyone able to read between the lines and who bothers to read the whole ...

Re: Sub 37 Always Sweeps The Sound!!!!!!

Re: Lag between between sequenced loops

Hi, Probably an easy solution to my problem: When I create a sequence (say A-B-C-D) and I make it play, I get: A-B-C-D- a little bit of time -A-B-C-D- a little bit of time -A-B-C-D.... Instead, I would like the sequence to play A-B-C-D-A-B-C-D-A-..., what I am missing? Methodology used: - Bring the...

Re: Sub 37 - Non-Tribute Edition?

From what I originally heard - and take this with a grain of salt as it could be wrong or it could have changed (that is, after all, at Moog's discretion) - there wasn't a set number of Sub 37 Tribute Edition units that they were going to make, there was a set time... to make them until the end of 2...

Re: Accessories for the Sub 37

Try the CV Out of an Etherwave Plus or Theremini into the Sub 37's Filter CV In, with a nice Arp or Sequence. Then send the audio through a well-timed delay and the result is magic fluidity. That's what I've been experimenting with; Theremini CV Out to Sub 37, with the audio of the Sub 37 going int...

Re: Sub 37 Poly Chain

Hmmm. I must have read that wrong. I thought Amos was saying the bug only exists on the Sub 37. If it exists on the Minitaur too, then I stand corrected. But if not, the POLY MAX parameter is off by one on the Sub and will need to be set accordingly. My bad, I missed the part where Amos said "...
