just buy a guitar tuner for 5 bucks and you will be fine. all i have ever had to do is just let mine warm up for 10 minutes, and its usually spot on. if the room is particularly cold, its a little flat, but the fine tune knob and a tuner does the trick. and vice versa also (hot room. sharp)

i used to run my little phatty through a carvin bass amp, and it sounded great. it reallly depends on how you eq it i think.

i would like to be able to change arpeggiator settings easier, and maybe make it easier to access the noise.

it seems like you or me hitting the octave button at any time, regardless of the other stuff, should do just what it is supposed to do and change the octave.

am i missing something? lol

i am a little confused as to what your problem is. so your preset starts out at +1, and the color changes on the button when you change it at all and drop it down to the lowest octave, and then you hit that button to bring it back to the presets original setting, and then what happens? i think you w...

i would like to put my vote in for the arturia minimoog vst. i used that before i got my phatty, and for shits and giggles i fired it up along side my phatty a month ago, and was still very pleased with how the program sounds. you dont get hands on control on the fly as easy, but if you dont need to...

the usb port also installs drivers on your computer fi you plug it in remember. vst or not, the big question is how it transmits info back and forth. will it be the usb, or do you have to have midi ports on your computer. i myself am equipped for either or, but i would say that the usb way would be ...

if you can afford one, then just buy it. they will all sell out fairly quickly, and im sure you could just turn around and sell it and probably make a few bucks also.

i gave up on getting something like this to work, and i just use my laptop to send sequenced stuff to it. something like that might tax the ole phattys brain, but im no expert on those sort of things.

its pretty much in pieces. the main board has everything on it still, and is still connected to the chassis still, but it needs some work. ill take some pics later.
