Re: model d measurement
Measurements taken from a 2017 Minimoog Reissue. My vintage 1979 Minimoog is slightly lower in max height, as the panel lays down perfectly parallel to the side panels. The Reissues I own have a slightly angled position when in the lowest position. It is about 143 mm (about 5.63") from the top ...

Re: Moog Little Phatty SEII midi over USB to TE OP-1
A USB connection needs one unit to act as a host and the other as client to work. Hosts are usually a computer or touch pad. The Moog is not a host. I is, as indicated by the USB-B port, a USBB client. And the Teenage Engineering OP-1 is also a client, as USB mini connectors are not used for hosts. ...

In theory, you get these tuned well over several octaves. But not in real live with not perfect calibration and temperature changes.

Re: Model 10+15 Oscillator Tracking
I have both the model 10 and model 15. The 901 tracks different to the 901bs and the 921 tacks different to the 921bs. Is there some technical reason that happens ? It can be quite a challenge to use all 3 oscillators because of it. Thanks :) Same here on my Synth-Werk. And getting a 901ABBB combin...

Re: Moog the Source cv in
The Source keybed is working by the voltage divider scheme. So no diode matrix, but real CV. If you have problems with the keys, check the voltage it gives by playing one key at a time on different keys. Maybe just a bad contact? Do this on your own risk. And please only, if you are experienced and ...

Re: Moog Voyager Oscillator Octave Issues
The display only shows what the panel sends to the digital board. there is no information going from the analog board to the digital board or the display. If the digital board get bad information due to bad switch contacts or connecting cables, it will pass the unwanted data as CV to the analog boar...

Re: How do you know if your Voyager has the slew rate mod?
Alright, thanks for all the replies, and sorry for not checking the forum sooner, I was a bit off forums, anyways, I found this Voyager RME that was modded by Rudi Linhard, and as you see in the picture, the display of the voyager says Moog Music Inc by Rudi Linhard, https://reverb.com/item/6046682...

Re: Is my Minitaur acting normally?
You can change the trigger modes by using MIDi CC #73: values 0-42 switch to LEGATO ON (Singe Trigger = default) values 43-84 switch to LEGATO OFF (Multiple Trigger with Envelopes starting from current position) values 85-127 switch to EG RESET (Multiple Trigger with Envelopes forced to start from z...

Re: Minitaur + Hammond pedals: questions
A) I used a vintage ELKA PM13 as MIDi bass pedal. Worked perfect. B) As the Minitaur is a dedicated bass synth with a limited note range, it does no feature an octave switch. There is just one detune knob for VCO 2 ranging from -1 to +1 octave relative to the VCO 1. Its setting are stored of cause w...

Re: modulation buss issue
This description sounds like an hardware failure :-( My first guess: A faulty TI chip. The problem stated in the January letter only affects Minimoog Voyagers built between mid-2010 and January 2013 with the following serial numbers: Select Series 829-1724, Performer 2990-3445, Electric Blue 1506-20...

Re: Taurus 3 Screen
As there is no display contrast setting available, this is a hardware problem.
I would check the cables going to the display. They might gone loose or have a bad contact.
If this doesn't help, you will need to get a technician to check and repair it.

Re: Sawtooth vs Triangle Waves
The Saw and Tri mode of the Moog One VCOs use a different waveshaping process or core oscillator. So the resulting waveshape is audible different, even if both are set to a saw waveshape. These small variations make a different character of the VCO. Much like having two different VCOs from different...

Re: Controlling Minitaur with Little Phatty??
Very easy to do. Most Synths or MIDI master keyboards do sent Program Change numbers via MIDI. So you have to navigate the Minitaur by numbers. The Little Phatty won't show the preset numbers. All you do is changing a preset number on the Little Phatty and the Minitaur will play the same number.

Welcome to this forum! There is a function in the MASTER menu called FACTORY SETUP. If the memory might be corrupted and the patches are not worth to store, try to use the FACTORY RESET function and then the FACTORY SOUNDS function. They are on page 69 onwards in my PDF version of the Voyager manual...
