Re: Limited edition Subsequent 37 CV announced
Not sure about the white color scheme yet. I think the Original Sub37 is one of the smartest looking synths out there. Not sure about the white...Is the price the same?

Re: issue with an used sub37
Does it work when you change the setting in the software editor? That would be on my short list of things to try.

Is ebay the best place to sell an original Minimoog??
Just wondering if there might be a better place, with less riffraff so to speak. I just sold a Nord Lead 2 on ebay and while everything turned out fine, the experience wasn't what I expected. My mini is serial number 5943. It is 95% functioning but needs serious cosmetic help. Thanks for any tips on...

Re: Sub 37's "dark" tone: myth?
I agree with you and have stated as much. One more thing...The velocity amount knob. (only visible in the editor) It defaults to something other then off. So velocity is also effecting the brightness a tad bit in the initialized patches.

Re: Sluggish keyboard and notes
Mess around with the keyboard priority modes. In the global menu look for "Kb Priority." Set this to Last. With this setting the last note played has priority and will sound immediately. In the other modes, the last played note may not sound until the previous note is released.

Re: Who makes the Software Editor for the Minitaur?
You should write to Gil at moogmusic dot com and ask him for an invitation to the beta forum. We are working really hard these days to finish the new firmware and editor for the Minitaur which fixes almost everything and adds a lot of new features! As soon as we are finished, the next one will be t...

Who makes the Software Editor for the Minitaur?
Is it Moog themselves or is it farmed out to a third party? Thanks!

Re: Neat and Unique Sub 37 Sounds and Behaviors
Nice Ted3000. One of my fav things is the ability to assign glide to only one osc. I know this is a pretty common feature on synths but it sounds absolutely amazing on the Sub37. (Applying glide to only one osc and then automating the glide time to bring it in and out when needed) It can add a beaut...

Re: Sub37 VS NI Komplete
Hi. First post on this forum. I've been producing within Ableton using their inbuilt Synths (Analog mainly), producing House. I'm wanting to move on to another now. I've been eyeing-up the outstanding Sub37, but I have also noticed NI's Komplete package... Looking for a word of advice/guidance. Ni'...

Re: Sub 37 sounds on its own?
Sounds like you have a stuck note. Press both octave buttons at the same time and hold them for a few seconds. Now try changing presets. This will shut any stuck notes down. I've gone through and removed the latch setting from almost all of the presets. When I want latch on I turn it on but I don't ...

Re: Minimoog Master Tune knob
My original Mini has been through the ringer! But it always manages to stay within the Master Tune Knob range. Some days it is more off then others. Last night I had it set at -1.6. Today it likes -1.1. I like it this way, keeps me on my toes.
