Should I sell my Nord Lead 2X?

I got a Nord Lead 2X two years ago, and ever since I got my Moog one year ago, I never play the thing. I bought it for $1000, and I figured I could sell it for $800-900, which would equate to a lot of other synth stuff I'm interested in (a sequencer and a drum machine particularly). It just collects...

I'm 16, and I like Moog stuff. I'd been fascinated with synthesizers since I saw some modular synthesizers in a museum, and heard the Bladerunner soundtrack.

Is there a point to buying a 101 if you only have synthesizers in your studio?

Here's an update: my beloved OS is now in the hands of the music store where I bought it, and they will lend me an RME early next week (free of charge) for as long as it takes to have my OS fixed. Not bad for customer service... Ha, that's a lovely idea. The only small analog synth provider I live ...

This seems to be a common problem with the OS.

Mine crapped out 4 days after I got it :(

Re: Hello. New to the board.

Just got a Voyager Old School....Also Looking at the MFB step 64 for a sequencer. i have an old school and a step64. they are a good match. with the step64 in mode 1, you can create a 16-step sequence to control CV pitch, CV gate, and 3 additional CV parameters on your OS back panel. with midi inpu...

How do you make OSC 3 modify OSC 1? OSC 1 isn't an option for destination. If you set OSC 3 to affect PITCH, would OSC 3 start modulating itself, as well as OSC 1? it's not really ring modulation....it's frequency modulation. there's a switch under Osc1 that activates that feature...from the manual...

the OS has the onboard ability to get a nice ring mod effect....using Osc3 to modulate Osc1. You may find you don't need the MF102....and the money might be better spent on the VX351/CP251...both essential in my opinion. How do you make OSC 3 modify OSC 1? OSC 1 isn't an option for destination. If ...

I've always felt that if it has audio outputs, you can integrate it into a system.

but Decay at MINIMUM (if decay is too high your signal level will slowly decrease) FINALLY! Every now and then, when I'd run my iPod through my Voyager, the volume would gradually die. Thank you! Why is it that the decay knob affects the volume of the external input, even if the sustain is set to 10?
