Re: Moog One Bugs
Not sure how common this is, but the filter cutoff frequency of the ladder filter varies from voice to voice . Most noticeable if you have the filter self-resonate, set the tracking to 100% and play the filter as an oscillator, as one does..... My gut says that this is simply a calibration thing. I...
Re: OS update
Well if you want to sync anything, that's not working yet.Marzzz wrote:"MIDI?" As in it doesn't have it? Or something more specific, like "full MIDI implementation?"Lizardking wrote:MIDI may be addressed in the next update.
Re: OS update
I can't wait for MIDI, hopefully it's resolved in the next firmware. I think you can go right to whatever firmware you want, no need to install consecutively.

Re: Moog One Bugs
Found that with the new V1.03 software, like before, sometimes loading preset factory sounds would be silent. Happening more often on this update. Reboot solves issue until it happens again on loading. Reinstalled software to no avail. Make sure to check in the Output 'More' section that the Synths...

Re: Moog One Bugs
It should go without saying that there are a lot of similarities between the SUB 37 and the MOOG ONE. But, when you jump from one to the other, there are areas where there is a huge disconnect in how you would expect the synths to function—especially considering both are designed and built by the sa...

Re: Moog One Bugs
WAVE ANGLE BLEED in all 3 OSCs. When the WAVE MIX is 100% PULSE, WAVE ANGLE bleeds through and changes the sound of the OSC. For example, if you have OSC 1 with 100% PULSE, changing the WAVE ANGLE (either SAW or TRIANGLE) affects the sound of OSC 1. Shouldn't 100% PULSE completely cancel out WAVE A...

Re: Moog One's TRIPHONIC MODE
It just doesn't have the same feel. There's something sonically very interesting to me when OSCs get split and reunited as you play single and multiple notes on the Sub 37, especially when glide is on. I think there are still some bugs with the voice allocation settings on the Moog One. Or at least ...

Moog One's TRIPHONIC MODE
Would it ever be possible to have a paraphonic mode on the Moog One? To be able split the OSCs apart within a single VOICE similar to the Sub 37s DUO MODE? Introducing the Moog One's TRIPHONIC MODE. I know some people are thinking it's not needed with a polyphonic synth, but there are very i...

Re: Moog One Bugs
This bug freezes the Moog One. Start an Init Patch (or Melo D Kick, where I experienced the bug). Change Filter Env's Decay Curve to 100% LOG. Increase Filter Env's Decay to MAX then increase Hold to MAX and then reduce to MIN while playing. At MIN, the Moog One freezes and reboots. Edit: Also prese...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
I tried again tonight and it seems like there would need to be another setting. Note priority as 'held notes'. For example, if I hold 2 notes down and I have 2 voices allocated to that Synth, only those two notes will play and any subsequent note will not play until those held notes are released. Th...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
My One is at home, but try choosing OLDEST for the VOICE STEALING MORE parameter (in the POLYPHONY More page) to see if that does what you want. That's what I thought originally as well but it doesn't work for me. Perhaps it's a bug? I tried all the voice stealing options and the held note would al...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
VERY SMALL REQUEST: When playing with reduced voices (for example 2), is it possible to keep a voice allocated to a note that is held while other notes come and go? For example if I play a bass note (and hold it), then play a lead, as soon as I play a note too many on the lead, the bass note cuts ou...

Re: 8 voice or 16 voice and why?
When you want that old school sound of voices cutting off when you exceed the number of voices. You can easily achieve this with the 16-voice just by reducing the amount of voices allocated to a Synth. I think the advantage of having an 8-voice is that you're forced to be creative with the li...

Not sure, I haven't tried. I've been holding off on any MIDI since it's glitchy at the moment.
