Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

Just checked the Careers section on their site. Seems they are no longer looking for a Firmware Developer. Giddy up codeboy! ;)

Re: Can't get support from Moog

Sorry to hear about your horrible experiences! What are you guys asking them about and how long has it been since they last responded? I've always had a good experience with Moog's support. Every time, they've gone and done things way above my expectations. Maybe there's currently some organisation ...

Re: Creaky keybed

Perhaps they asked for it to have that 'vintage keybed' feature as well. ;)

Mine is still creaky after 2 years.

Re: Moog One Bugs

I don't know if they'll fix this but... • When adding or switch patches while they are playing, weird audio glitches occur so you can't really feel comfortable switching patches or adding them on the fly in a live situation. If there was a protocol or procedure to perform that resolved those, that w...

Re: Moog One 8 Voice Owners here?

I originally had the 8V and was quite satisfied with it. But then I ended up getting a 16V. (It's a long story...) I would have been quite happy with the 8V but when you have the 16V you no longer worry about not having enough voices (too obvious?). Honestly, I rarely use all 16 voices unless I'm tr...

I just hope that their lack of communication isn't a sign of them going through possible financial/layoff troubles.

Re: Can't get support from Moog

If Moog isn't responding to their customers, that's how you know how bad the pandemic is getting. But if your issue is really that bad, keep e-mail them about it or like others suggested (talk to the distributor). I believe critical issues will be prioritized but they won't be able to address all is...

Re: Are You Happy with Your Moog One? (Considering buying)

Because of all the different filter options/combinations, the Moog One can sound absolutely insanely huge, but also paper thin... I think if someone doesn't know how to dial in the huge, they can feel like the synth overall sounds pretty thin and not as impressive as a Minimoog where it can immediat...

Re: Are You Happy with Your Moog One? (Considering buying)

The only negative I can say is that it has too many capabilities. That is, you'll have a hard time knowing how to stop and limit what you do with it. It can basically create any sound you can imagine and that sometimes can be too much to handle. If you do buy it, get rid of all your other synths bec...

Re: Moog Sub 37 Presets Converted to Moog One

I think the reason they didn't include Multidrive is because I think you can drive it with the dual filters and volumes alone. Sure, it's not the same, but the Moog One can definitely overdrive the sound if you crank the resonance on the SVF and run it in series with the Ladder filter. Some things t...

Re: Firmware 1.3 released

My assumption was that it was a simple fix. I should avoid assuming... but I'm glad Moog is listening. On the flip side, the new features and overall stability of the Moog One in firmware 1.3 are actually really good. I'm now able to have successful sessions with the Moog One, whereas in the previou...

Re: Firmware 1.3 released

I didn't notice any other instances since it's not super easy to notice more complex modulations. The fact that WAVE ANGLE is a parameter on the main panel makes it more noticeable when it isn't working properly. But I think it'll be difficult to spot any modulations that are not as simple. The deep...
