Re: EMF effects on health with prolonged use

I guess that means that severe illnesses will skyrocket in five years, right? The thing is, no one can really know yet. A lot of this stuff is new enough that we don't have enough data. Though it reminds me of the cigarette companies in total denial of any ill health effects up until relativ...

Re: 1V/Oct scaling on the MF-103 LFO

Thanks, that video confirmed what I have heard so far. That the Moogerfooger boxes do not have any way of scaling them to 1V/oct. With the exception of the 107 FreqBox, which seems to have been 'roughly' set for 1V/oct. It would be nice if the CP-251 had a CV processor where you could alter the scal...

Re: EMF effects on health with prolonged use

1.You are claiming to have special powers that noone else has...which is the ability to feel the "offness" of trace amounts of RF. This is absurd. I take it from your comment that you don't feel any effects from cell phone usage? That's totally cool. Cell phones barely use half a watt. Un...

Re: EMF effects on health with prolonged use

I'm not a big alarmist on the effects of RF radiation, though I do stay away from cell phones because I do feel a slight 'offness' in myself when I use them. Many of the younger generation may not be sensitive to this, just because they grew up using them. I also stay away from earbuds because the E...

Re: What do all you 'foogers think of the DSI Prophet?

I owned an Evolver for a while, got rid of it because I didn't care for the sound. Even though it sports plenty of analog, there's a difference between cheap analog and expensive analog. When I listened to the Prophet 08 in the store, I was struck by a similar feeling. This doesn't seem to be a comm...

Re: What do you think a used Voyager Select goes for?

I just bought a used Voyager select + VX + CP and have been thinking along the same lines. I sure would prefer the 'all in one box' approach that the XL offers, with the addition of a ribbon and larger keyboard. Doesn't anyone out there want the spiffy backlight and smaller footprint of the Voyager ...

1V/Oct scaling on the MF-103 LFO

Hi all, Long time modular user, first time poster. I just recently traded my Hartmann Neuron for a Voyager, 101, 102, 103, 107, CP, and VX modules. Quite a nice trade for both of us and I'm very happy to be back in the world of patchcords. So here's what I'm trying to do. I'm running the 'Mixer Out/...
