Re: Share your synthesizer music!
That was fun! Great job!thealien666 wrote:My latest cover of a 1979 song called Moskow Diskow by Belgian group Telex. It might bring back memories for some of you. Done on Minimoog D, Ensoniq SQ-80, Alesis Ion (Vocoder) and DR-880.
Enjoy !

Re: Smartest purchase tactic
Edit there is a guy named Genshi Media Group on you tube that makes the best music using 2 and or 3 moms and other farkles that would make my wife cringe. That is the what I'm after sound wise but like I said before whats the best combo towards that end. At this time I can do about 2500. in damage ...

Re: Three Moog Mother-32s
This is a very rough and sloppily played tribute to seb17320's excellent "Mos-Lab 15 demo" video I posted a couple of weeks back. I wanted to see if I could pull-off something close using three Moog Mother-32s. The playing is really rough (due to attempting to play a solo on the little bu...

Re: Good compact keyboard for mothers?
I use the Keith McMillen QeNexus . It may look small, but it's incredibly expressive. Many of the Modular guys use this because of the optional CV Out Kit, but I use it with the MIDI Out (You would need the optional MIDI Expander, but it still comes in less than the XKey.) Here's a video of me testi...

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
yes i would like to know why it is taking soo long for Moog to send some over to Sweetwater . I preordered mine the week they were announced and still nothing all i hear is delays in shipments, and not the good kinds we all love jealous that everyone else has already begun to enjoy and learn theirs...

Re: KB cv output calibration?
I hear what you are saying and could maybe accept the internal moog "tricks" to have a "second" oscillator not be perfectly in tuning. But I should be able to hook up my vintage Oberheim SEM and the Mother 32 together and play in tune. My Prophret 5 and the SEM do when I use the...

Re: MUSIC!!!!
I just found the Moog Mother-32. I am looking at what I can sell, besides my body to get one. That is besides the point. I fell in love with it. I want to hear what you have created with it. Send me your SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube, etc. I can't seem to get enough right now. I've been doing a ser...

Re: MUSIC!!!!
jido-genshi Nice work as always. Thanks for a tip of the hat to Sep. His videos are alway well done. I'm looking forward to my shipment of modules from France April next year. Also I really liked the first bit of your last video as it had this Steve Reich vibe going on. That will always get two big...

Re: Sequencer, MIDI to CV
Hey! New here, and new to modulars too. I've been looking into the mother 32 and seems like a good entry point. I was wondering if the included MIDI 2 CV will let me for example play my sequences on ableton to other synths trough the M32? And if the sequences i'd make on the m32 could be played to ...

Re: Synths only, No computer
Hi Jido, I can follow what you are saying re the connections but does that allow me individual control over each Mother 32? So if for example I had each set to a different midi channel does the set up you suggest allow the signal to bypass say the 1st and 2nd mother 32 and only play the third if I ...
