thanks Johnny a question maybe you have an apogee duet soundcard? Mine is not through an Apogee,but a Toneport. and for me it can't be a USB noise thing, cause I'm not using USB, and the noise isn't just interference... its an extremely loud noise... I got scared of even touching the synth after it...

intrestingly enough, I tried connecting a midi cable from the LP, thru a midi controller that can be used as a midi interface into my laptop, and got the same noise...

Interestingly enough, I experienced the same errors with Logic 8 a while ago and also had to re-install. Amos also thought it to be weird for Logic to do this, but was suspcting the communication between the LP and Logic. I don't know if it still does this because after it did it the 2nd time while ...
