Re: DFAM dead after wrong power supply use

Hello, I accidentally put a wrong power supply into my DFAM (19v) just a few seconds. It doesn't light on anymore. Any idea how I can fix it? I try to contact support but I have no response. Thank you. You mean a 19V walt wart instead of the 12V one that was supplied? Most well designed, commercial...

Re: Korg SQ-1 a sa memory for MoogerFoogers and other analogue effects

Pretty cool stiiiiive. I use a couple of Behringer 960 clones, with 962's. They're super inexpensive, and once you replace the potentiometers, pretty accurate to boot. They're fun to use with DFAM and SunH too.

Now to eurorack my moogerfoogers someday...

Re: Subharmonicon and DFAM out of sync

If a clock is programmed, there is zero* delay between trigger, or clock, clk1, clk2 outputs.

Re: DFAM loose knobs

I've had my DFAM for about a month and a half. In that time the VCO2 knob on the mixer and the Pitch 1 knob have significantly loosened. The wobble a little and there isn't much resistance to turn them. It makes it difficult to have fine controls over these knobs. My questions: Is this something ot...

Re: Best Minimoog FILTER clone out there ? (Typo !)

maybe I misunderstood: you said you've been doing DIY, and your profile says you have a system 55 & minimoog clone (?) so what filters have you built/modded? The signature is a bit stupid I guess. I'm going through the Behringer clones replacing the most egregious cost reduced parts; potentiome...

Beautiful sound, wish I had a module to share too. Oakly also makes a eurorack version. And by the pictures they appear to use Taiwan Alpha pots. - just in time for xmas. :-) Thank you!

Re: Best Minimoog FILTER clone out there ? (Typo !)

well, go ahead then :D it had been a few days, and no one had replied to the fellow there are a LOT more DIY people & projects over at Muff's: he would surely get a wider variety of opinions and experience from others there who have built clones. I was indeed trying to be helpful most people he...

Re: Best Minimoog FILTER clone out there ? (Typo !)

Using up valuable Moog brand message board space asking a Moog related questions? Sounds like a good idea. Talking about Moog is always a good thing. When it's left out of the conversation, that's when you need to worry. Having the conversation on your own property is priceless. I would have been in...

Re: 904a and Minimoog filter.

Despite painstaking attention to detail and creating as much authenticity ( Moog copper boards, vintage components, perfectly matched transistors, vintage main capacitors) as possible on my 904a clone ...when compared to the Minimoog filter, it seems pretty lifeless and diluted. The Minimoog filter...

Re: LFO. Vibrato effect

Oh..no... I send the low sine wave into the vca controlled by a 911 to act as a delay or fade in /out for the Sine LFO signal. It is def pitch vibrato and not Tremelo I’m dealing with. As mentioned with Dot.Com Osc as source sine wave and then going into VCA maybe the sine wave is being changed or ...

Re: LFO. Vibrato effect

Having checked it’s not an electrolytic I put in the patch lead it’s a .47 cap to cut the D.C. However , trying different patch cables I’m still not happy with the LFO signal. I’m using an out of the system Dot.Com oscillator for the low sine source and maybe it’s not exactly balanced to the Moog V...

Re: 907. Schematic ...faults ?

The level difference really isn't all that much I think It's only 6db down and a CP mixer will boost that easy. I'm working with a mixed Mutable and Behringer System 55 module set. The headroom is less on the behringer stuff, but it doesn't really take much gain staging to get good results. The 914 ...

Re: LFO. Vibrato effect

Thanks for help.... 911a tip, I never thought of that. I’ve been doing more tests. It seems that the sine wave effect on the CV just doesn’t bite enough. Yes I know I can add more, depth etc, but that seems to just muddy everything. I tried the triangle wave which is a little different but same eff...
