Re: Moog Voyager Problems
Well, in addition to the main board, the connections to the input jack panel were loose and that made the screen look like gibberish and the synth not play even after reinstalling a known good main board. I reseated a red connector on the input jack board, and all good.

Re: Official Parts List?
Your best bet is to call Moog and see if they have any or can give you the specs. If you google it, you will see that the usual suppliers don’t have this part. Good luck.

Re: Firmware update caused control reassignment - WHY?
That’s weird, because the current firmware for both Little and Slim is version 3.21, and the current boot is version 1.1. I don’t see how you could have ended up with version 3.05. Did you follow the instruction for updating from firmware 2.XX to firmware 3.XX before updating the firmware? What vers...

Re: Firmware update caused control reassignment - WHY?
It appears that you loaded Little Phatty firmware into your Slim Phatty. Slim Phatty has different firmware which you can find here: https://www.moogmusic.com/downloads?type=66 Scroll to the right of the page. It’s under the designation “Legacy Products” and is kind of hard to find on the new Moog s...

Your favorite set of factory presets?
Hi, I’m setting up a four-Phatty chain and have all the Phatties set to the latest firmware and the Little Phatty Stage factory presets as a starting point for making new polyphonic sounds.. I don’t have much experience with other sets of presets, such as those originally on the Slim Phatty or the o...

Re: LP poly chain
Anyone still having firmware download issues, post here. There’s a piece of software you have to have on your computer to load the firmware. Must be done from a computer, no apparent way to do it synth to synth.

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?
Returned PCB board from Moog was installed and, after some coaching from Harrison at Moog, got it reinstalled and working again. How happy I am today! Tip: careful of the connections to the input jack board when reinstalling.

Re: Minimoog Voyager Rack Frozen LCD Panel
What model Voyager do you have? A certain serial number range of Selects has a known problem with the components used in manufacturing the main board being bad at the time of manufacture. There is a thread here about it. If your Voyager is a Select within this serial number range, it should be cover...

Re: Decision support: is the Voyager a reliable synthesizer?
Follow up. After telling me they had new replacement boards in stock, I sent mine in for replacement, again. Now I am told there are no new replacement boards at this time and no estimate of when one will be available. To say I wish i’d never bought this brick would be an understatement. To be clear...

Re: Moog Voyager Problems
Anybody else have their warranty-repaired main board go bad a SECOND time? Apparently some components used in (or left on) the replacement boards were faulty as well. Trying to sort this out with Moog, but man, am I unhappy with them now.

Try terry cloth and hot water. If that doesn’t work, PM me. I have a set i’ll sell from when I replaced with wood. Or replace with wood. I got a set on Reverb. Good luck.

Re: Voyager Issues
Has anyone replaced their board, in the serial number range, and had the problem recur? I replaced my board about two years ago, haven’t played it more than two hours, haven’t moved it and keep it unplugged. Today I tried it out and it’s doing the same things it did before I replaced the board. It p...

It would be helpful to have your serial number available when contacting Moog support. Include it in any email or other communication. Good luck.

Re: Moog Voyager Problems
It’s important to remember that MOOG does not hand make every resistor or other minor component, and that flawed components from suppliers can fail prematurely. Mine came perfect in the box new, went wacky, was in the replacement range, I swapped out the analog board they sent as a replacement, foll...
