Re: VCA automation and analog synths

There's the Modcan CV recorder module and the Flame Clockwork can record its CVs in a limited capacity (plus they have a knob recorder on the horizon). I haven't tried Volta but I hear it generates relatively smooth CVs.

Re: Steve Winwood, "While you see a chance"?

Bump! I wonder how well a Prophet 8 can come close to the pads on this song. Unfortunately I didn't "see a chance" when I had the opportunity. Could this song be approximated with a Voyager and P8? This is still based on the assumption that the original was a Mini and P5! I'd als...

Do you make Noise with your Moog?

I know this is very subjective so I'll post this link to give you an idea of what I'm talking about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3weMJJYd_U&feature=player_embedded#at=428 This is me using my Eurorack modular with many pieces involved as is the case with Eurorack. The whole thing is housed in...

Yes, EMC! This was a very difficult stance for me and I feel that Stefan is not being fare when it comes to how much Moog puts into its quality! I won't say anymore about this! :|

Re: Voyager quality problems - feedbacks wanted

I'm taking this very personally Toni and have to say that your last post was very inappropriate. To suggest that Moog doesn't care about mechanical quality is BS. Every single employee at Moog knows what they are building and know how important quality is. I can only say that when it comes to produc...

Re: Eurorack Moog?

Personally I think this would be a horrible idea! If Moog does get back into making modules I would hope they choose the MU format. Yes, eurorack is on fire right now but : 1. It's 1/8" so there would be compatibility issues with Moog's current product line (1/4"). 2. There are too many Eu...

Re: Is Voyager XL just a voyager with VX-352 CV Expander add

I can't accept this as being $5K. The extra keys and ribbon don't justify the extra cost. My biggest problem is with the patch points being located above the LHC which was poorly thought out IMO.

Re: Politics at Moogfest

So, it's not what they think, it's only what they say? People have a right to think whatever they like. But I'm not going to support a person or a company with my money if they're going to use my money to promote ideologies I regard as wrong in some way. So yes, there is a distinction. In practice ...

No, but I've used it with a bottleneck, so I imagine that's similar.
A pedal steel'd be of a kin, sure, but similar like a micromoog is to a room-filling modular ;)
Have you guys worked with the Moog guitar?

Re: Moog Lap Steel

I must say that I don't think Cyril was too involved in this or the other currently releases so I'm thinking that he's working on something that will give the nuts to what Moog geeks are waiting for. His last project was the Taurus 3 and he hit the bulls eye in the sound and performance so I'm sure ...

Re: Moog Lap Steel

@Billy, I think people will really respond well to this. It looks as beautiful as the guitar and will delight those who use lap steels and probably synth geeks who can put this on a stand. I think this is a great use of the technology but I'm curious how the Mute works on it. I can't wait to see the...

Yes but if you look his right (left in the photo) you can see another lap steel(?) with the Moog emblem and Moog guitar pickups.

I think this is a great idea for use of the technology!
