MF Drive dead already
Well, my MF Drive died today. It's had very limited use and obviously isn't very old. It just doesn't power on regardless of battery and PSU use. I have two questions: 1) Has anybody else had a minifooger die on the like this? It really concerns me that I would have issues with a pedal this quickly....

Re: Question for MF Drive owners/users
I have a couple muffs into a rat into a mf drive. The drive range on the mf drive can get kind of close to the Rat. The Rat definitely gets fuzzier. The sweet spots of the mf drive are very different than the Rat IMO. Rats use opamp and the MF drive uses fet. The MF drive is a lot more responsive an...

Re: MF-drive on the way...
I use mine for guitar, but can tell you that it can handle any frequency you throw at it. It also has a great sound and a lot of tone shaping capabilities. If you like using drive pedals with your synths at all, I can't see this pedal disappointing.

Re: MF 101 So Noisy
Did the tech that swapped the pcb recreate the noise issue using his own gear? I'm assuming he verified that it was the pedal before going through with that. If not, try ruling out one thing at a time. Try a different amp, guitar cable, outlet, PSU, etc. I haven't had any noise you wouldn't expect f...

Moogerfooger Rack Mount Strength
Can anybody comment on the build quality/strength of the Moogerfooger rack? I wanted to make a system to easily transport my foogers from my studio rack to a pedalboard. The idea was to build a pedalboard with supports for the rack. Does the rack mount kit seem sturdy enough to stomp on for live use?

Re: MF104M Delay and Lehle Parallel - Pseudo Stereo
I picked it up second hand. It seems to be pretty rare that they pop up used, unfortunately. There may be other affordable options. And the bypass isn't very useful for this application since it cuts out the signal going to the second amp from the Lehle. There is a Parallel M on eBay for $150 new. I...

MF104M Delay and Lehle Parallel - Pseudo Stereo
A Lehle Parallel L just popped up locally for a really low price, so I snatched it up to try my hand at faking stereo with my Moogerfooger Delay. I'm not a huge fan of 100% wet/dry rigs and don't see too much of a point in stereo if both signals are the same. I really like what happens when one amp ...

Re: Question about the Boost Pedal
Can anybody comment on the signal of the boost set to unity gain? A lot of people hate the way volume pedals affect their signal. If the MF Boost can act as a volume pedal that is completely transparent, it may be a big bonus to some people.

Re: Newbie question: what makes Moog delay better?
That's a loaded question. There is no such thing as better or worse unless you're talking about poor build quality. I don't think the Moog or Carbon Copy would fall into the poor quality camp. I have no experience with the other delay. The Carbon Copy is a well known and loved delay pedal. It's perf...

Re: What are these things?
They are aimed at guitar and bass players. Moogerfoogers bridged the gap and guitar players started using them. The feedback seemed to be overwhelming from many guitar players. It's standard pedal size, true bypass and affordable. It seems like they are upsetting some people here? Yes, there are les...

Re: mf 101 + cp 251 with guitar
How do you have it connected? I'm guessing you didn't connect the CP-251 to the audio path right? Effects are still going to change the sound going through your amp even when you're not playing the instrument. If you click on a distortion pedal, you'll hear more noise. When you click on a phaser, th...

Re: Why buy the MF-104? What can I do with it?
No stereo . . . At that price? I don't want one as much now. I have a stereo Murf, and stereo makes it sound wondrous. I hope they go stereo in the next generation of '104s. The biggest drawback is having no stereo inputs. But it's an analog delay using BBD chips. Not sure what else we can expect. ...

ClusterFlux on drums = awesome
I recently had a chance to experiment a bit in the studio with my Moogerfoogers. I just wanted to comment on how great the Clusterflux is for drum production. Blend in a little bit of chorus (LFO very low) on any of the drums and it gives them this rich, fat sound. Especially love it on my snare and...
