Re: Talk me into keeping my MF104M
I'll second the comment about sidechaining vs insert - I tried the insert approach with my XL when I first got it, did not (and still do not) fully understand why it sounds so terrible set up like that. Sidechained on a separate return on my mixer ever since. I too don't care much for the darker sou...

Re: Moog Moogerfooger MF-104M Analog Delay Effects Pedal
They seem to be popping up every now and then... maybe the supply chain still has a few sitting in random warehouses? I've been tempted to get a second and pair them together for stereo bliss, but decided on the Strymon Big Sky for now. My only hangup on the MF104M is it's a bit dark sounding (and e...

Re: Voyager XL - if you were doing it all over again...
Same here - picked up my white XL from Noisebug, factory refurb, for $4k. Now sits as the centerpiece in my studio, and has lived up to my years of imagining what it would be like to actually own a Moog synth. The other night I spent about 1.5 hours envisioning, and then dialing in a patch... follow...

Re: Voyager XL - if you were doing it all over again...
100% yes. It is the most gratifying sound design tool I own, and now that I have it routed through a Strymon Big Sky, along with the MF-104M, the sonic palette is almost limitless.

Re: Moogerfooger for Sub 37!?
My only fooger to-date is the MF-104M, and it adds a tremendous amount of depth to the Sub 37. I'm still learning new tricks to pull off after a year - essential addition IMO.

Re: Drive/ distortion pedal for Voyager á la multidrive
Yeah, the MF Drive seems like it would be a great way to get an effect similar to the Sub 37's Multidrive.

I don't know about that - if the serial #s indicate how many have sold, Moog are very quickly approaching 10,000 units!

Re: Drive/ distortion pedal for Voyager á la multidrive
I just got the MF Boost yesterday to insert into my XL, and it is a sweet little boost. The two different methods for boosting the signal produce an exquisitely clean sound, very pure in tone. You can then shape the tone via the included 6db filter (tone knob). I'd like to try the MF Drive next, but...

Re: Ultraslim Sub 37 Module
That's an interesting idea... maybe offer two chaining modes. Mode 1 for true poly voice, and Mode 2 for distinct poly voices (where you would set the parameters for each voice from the Sub 37 keyboard's knobs and switches).

Re: is it worth to do?
Just in terms of whether or not to go XL vs regular + CP-251, I decided to go the full XL route last year. I weighed the pros and cons of price vs convenience, and ultimately having everything together in one piece of kit won out. And I have to say, it is fantastic... the XL is truly the centerpiece...

Re: Sub37 Keys seem to be turning yellow
I can't believe my luck... I just noticed today that there is one key on my XL that is turning yellow! No exposure to sun at all, no smoking, only been in the studio at home, and only had it for 16 months. Ugh.
I don't suppose it is possible to just replace one key?

Re: voyager XL plus sub37 equals what?
They are each individual instruments that share a few common attributes, but IMO, offer a wealth of individual features on their own. For me the XL is my go-to master keyboard, analog beast, CV wizard, not to mention FM capable in ways that the Sub 37 just isn't. On the other hand, the Sub 37 is a m...

Their service is good, but remember they are a small company, so turnaround can be slow from time to time.

Re: Animoog 2.2.3 Crackles w/iconnect MIDI 2+
ah ha... I figured out how to fix it temporarily. In the iConnectivity iConfig app, set the audio configuration to 1 - 44100Hz, 4 Channels, 16bit. I had mine set to 7 - 48000Hz, 4 Channels, 24bit, but even setting it to 16bit didn't make a difference, it has to be 44100Hz. Bummer that that's the cas...

Re: Animoog 2.2.3 Crackles w/iconnect MIDI 2+
I'm having the exact same problem with 2.2.5, iPad 4, iOS 8.3, iConnect MIDI 2+.
I will try e-mailing Moog support directly, as this is the only music app on my iPad that has this problem.
