Well, I'm using the supply I was given, I suppose I better check to see if it is regulated!

(Bass) MuRF: Three orange lights... :(

For some reason my "new" (less than one month old) Bass MuRF #189 is not working. Most of the time the "Rate", "Drive" and "Bypass" lights are coloured orange, and some times it switches itself on. And then it goes off again, with a nice crackle. When in "...

Hi I'm guessing you're refering to "CP" as the CP-251 control processor. An expression pedal is exactly like a third hand, because it is set up so that rocking the pedal essentially changes the position of the knob. A way in which the "CP" can change a knob position (automaticall...

MIDI Theremin Controller

I've posted this in the Theremin section, and here for all you other moogers: Hi all. I've just built this . Yes, a MIDI theremin! Now, it definately is no Moog, for one it's cheap and plastic, (but one could build a new case and antennae) the range is about 10cm around each antenna and the note &qu...

MIDI Theremin!

Hi all. I've just built this . Yes, a MIDI theremin! Now, it definately is no Moog, for one it's cheap and plastic, (but one could build a new case and antennae) the range is about 10cm around each antenna and the note "jumps" if your hand is not perfectly still. But it is an okay controll...

Regarding monophony: with the Voyager (and perhaps other synths?) you can use it to your advantage. Depending on the note priority, you can get some >insert your favourite guitar-orientated metal band here< type "tapping" guitar sounds by holding one note down, and playing rapid/short note...

Well, I already have a Voyager, I would just like to expand it a little. I reackon I could wire up a patchbay, I would just like to know if anyone had tried it, and with what results.

Homemade VX-351

Hello all. I have a Voyager AE and was thinking about the expander modules. The only problem is the $$$. The only stockist of Moog gear that I know of here (New Zealand) has ridiculous prices. And our dollar is weak at the moment, so importing would be costly... Has anyone ever made their own? It wo...

I've also got a BB 102 and Moog 101,3,4SD. IMO, the 102 knobs are the nicest to tweak. Couldn't tell you about any sound differences, as I don't have one of each fooger from each era!

Sorry, I meant LFO to MIX (but you'd need an insert cable/mult. to patch an LFO and an envelope signal to MIX. If you have an MF-102, that can do tremolo. MF-101 ENV. OUT to MF-102 MIX to control tremolo level. I think the Line 6 tremolo incorparates an evelope effect?

I reckon it's a MIDI -> PC interface.

Just a box with one knob (which chooses your MIDI channel).

Woohoo!

Seriously now...

Did you turn down the AMOUNT knob? This would raise the cutoff when the envelope was triggered. From what I remember, some dry signal goes through the filter anyway. Although not evelope controlled, you could try patching an LFO to CUTOFF with no resonance.
