Thanks for the reply. I'll be getting 4 ep-2 might be over the top but what the hell.

Should I get TRS cables. I think I read in the Cp-251 manual that using non TRS cables will disable the hot jacks for the ep-2. Did I misread?
Would not be the first time

So The pedals will be here soon. The cp-251 is already here and the 101,102 & 104 should be here Wednesday. So I'm off to buy some patch cables. Any suggestions? Also I have the bug real bad now. I'm looking for a reverb unit to match. I just found the electro-harmonix Holier Grail. Does anyone ...

cp251 & vx351/2 = ????

So after a year or so of saving and trying to sort out what is the best gear for me I should be ready to pull the trigger on my first Moog gear. The plan is to buy a MF101, 102 & a CP 251 next week. I'll most likely pick up a LP and possibly a 104 with in the month. So I'm excited. Now for the d...

Thanks for the reply. So is it the smaller memory in the Tribute that is the hold up with the 2.0 update? And would I be better off not looking at a used Tribute unit? Man I do like the blue lights.

The Tribute

I'm starting to look at the LP. I see the the Tribute is not able to be upgraded to Lp2.0 yet. What is the internal differences between the old Stage and the Tribute? From what I've been able to find it's only the wood side panels and other non functional bits. Thanks for the help

Once more thanks for all the input. It seems to be the general view that I should start off with a 102 and a cp251. I guess I can add the 101 at a later time. Ultimately I'm looking to have a a pedal based modular synth. And I have no idea what I'm looking at. Thanks for the heads up on the echoplex...

Hi Erick

Thanks for the reply. I'll be using contact mics on percussion instruments. Gongs, wood blocks, modified snare drums etc... . I'm getting a jamman, so I'll feed the jamman's out into the mfs. I'm not sure what sounds I'm trying to get. But I do want some "out there stuff"

which fooger ??

I'm going to buy one or two mf soon. I will be using it for more acoustic instruments. I'll use mics and contact mics via a small mixing board. My first thought is a ring mod. The second mf ? Im not sure. I wanted to find a unit that will give me a electrix filter factory type efects. Should I just ...

It's a John Cage reference. 4'33" is a piece that Cage wrote. The Piece is 4 min 33 sec long and is completely silent. The only sound is the sound of the audience. I'm only guessing that the 4'33" fogger makes no sound. I saw 4'33" performed this weekend at the Toy piano by Margaret L...

foogers with spd-s

Hi,

First post so please be easy on me.

I want to get into playing my pads in to foogers pedals. But which one should I start with. I don't know much about pedals. I'm more used to smacking acoustic drums around. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks Dean
