What about the build? Is it as sturdy as the Foogers? The selector knob is sketchy. I would think that would be the first thing to break. Everything else feels rock solid. The selector knob feels like it might fall off on its own. Brandon Maybe Amos or someone else can confirm, but I had another pe...

Re: pass through mode

I really need this !!!!!! when controlling different things on different channels, say-adjust lfo speed on little phatty on chan 1- then-want to jump to chan 2 to hit the rate of the murf-the murf rate jumps to where the pedal was set for chan 1- Do you have the Murf's channel set to 'Continuous'? ...

This thread inspired me to play with the mix knob some, which led me to realize that with no signal to the carrier (insert a dummy plug) the ringmod can be used as a VCA, with an inverted CV response (higher voltage = quieter) by applying CV to the mix input I think this is whats got folks with an ...

what happens when foogers are run at 12v? would never think to do that With the 101 for instance, hitting the 9v to 12v switch results in less gain/envelope.. probably less headroom overall in the 'foogers at 12v, at least with the voltage coming from the PP2+.; can actually make for some nice gurg...

Playing 'foogers is good fun.. I usually route the 102 Carrier out to the Freqbox audio in, followed by the rest of the chain and twiddle away until something interesting happens. I have some clips, usually from my first discoveries with various effects&patches. I've also been using the Ringmod+...

Still counld be a scam auction though. Eric It says that they would accept cash for a local pickup/delivery.. and the background imagery appears in line with the stated location of 'El Monte, CA', so I don't think its a scam, but pricey for sure. For 46k I'd want some sort of professional check up ...

I think some experimentation with the MP-201 providing the carrier signal to the Ring Mod is in order. Can you have the user-defined ADSR envelopes act as LFOs? (i.e., can you have them repeat without some sort of gate signal triggering them?) There are some very interesting tremolo sounds possible...

Re: envelope follower controlling volume?

Hi, is there a pedal that I can get to have the envelope follower out of (for example) an MF-101 control the volume of a signal? I play the bass and I would like to have an overdriven bass sound with the shorter decay of the non-overdriven notes. Sounds like a gated fuzz like the Chunk Systems 'Bro...

Latig and moremagic are correct about using a CV source into the Carrier In; use it like a tremolo with an LFO, VCA with envelopes, Volume pedal with an expression pedal, etc. (all can be done with the MP201 for instance, MIDI synced or tap tempo'd) Syncing through the 'Freq' input is not a simple t...

Im generally using it in 'one shot' mode and using either a Footswitch or Treadle(expression) to trigger-- when editing I prefer to use the Treadle so I can make adjustments and trigger the Envelope while still inside the Edit screen- while in the Edit screen, the Footswitches shuffle through the me...

Yep, works well- I just started using it to make percussion with the CP251 noise, 101, 102, MP201 envelope, etc... works great, fast response- Exciting new stuff for me :D

There's been talk of an editor in recent threads, including confirmation from Amos that they're working on it, but no idea's about time-frame have been given yet-- I'm happy to know that its at least in the works :)

Another 'fooger using bass player highly recommending the Lowpass over the Ringmod-

The Lowpass will get you dub style subbass tones, envelope filtering, 'synthy' manual swept filter with an expression pedal... it will help tame the Freqbox and great for fat synth bass, etc..

Smart! Now I'm wondering if you could send a gate signal to the "Carrier In" and have a squarewave tremolo that way. Hmm . . . Bryan Hmm, I took a quick look and for my setup its not ideal, at first glance anyway, as the options are to trigger the gate with either a footswitch, the treadl...
