Re: Matt Johnsons Sound Pack

Evening All, Matt Johnson has a new video out on YouTube and is flogging some of his custom patches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-RwyxTWIRU&t=550s I bought them yesterday, but as always when i buy third party patches i have some issues with the presets themselves. Not all sounds come with ...

Re: Gain staging between Synth FX and Master FX

If you mean the spread function, I can agree. Effect button off and the voices are spreading, with effect button set to on than the spread function fails. It seems, that the synth drives a mono channel in fx mode going a digital routing šŸ§ Is it caused by leaving the analog path? MO is on 1.5 fw Hope...

Can Moog One sound better?

I ask myself if Moog One could sound better? How? For me, it sounds as the best Moog I ever have. Yes, I will buy the OB-X8. But this is a must. Thanks Bob, thanks Dave and thanks Tom. You are the best. Great engineers.

Cheers
Tom

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

Looking at the kids, who make great music out of nothing... I guess I'm travelling the wrong road. Me too :D Same thoughts, same profession. But not to go too far out of topic  I can say, I was every time ready to buy a new gear that I wanted, not depending on a state of a firmware version. I...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

Personal question: I also have the Iridium, just because I buy almost every synth that comes out since a few years. Any good? I tested mine for a few days, but then decided to not give it a place in my studio. I found it somewhat boring and weak. Did I miss anything? Strong parallels :D I almost bu...

Re: Ready to buy: waiting for new firmware?

STILL (AGAIN AND AGAIN): MOOG ONE = BEST POLYSYNTH TODAY Yes, I agree to this 100% an play the MOOG ONE every day. I actually bought a Prophet 10. If you compare the sound, both have their own soul. Fantastic. But the MO creative amount is a galaxy bigger than the prophets possibilitys. My P10 has ...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

At superbooth 2021, I have talked to someone who is in the Moog business. He said, there will be no new firmware update any more. The reason was that key people left the company. Does this mean Amos Gaynes has left Moog? Geert Bevin is the Senior Software Engineer, and actually Software Engineering...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

It sounds like, the Moog One is absolutely unuseable with the latest firmware - I donĀ“t agree. If you believe or not: I donĀ“t notice any bugs actually when I play the Moog One. The device runs in stable mode in my studio. For me, it is. I can't use with cubase because notes hang on randomly. It is ...

Re: Next 1.5 update, when ?

I visit Moog website everyday since I have the Moog One. This is so frustrating. We need to begin a #updatefockinmoogone movement or something in that. These things work. ... and what, if this would be the answer: "Actually we fix only the known bugs very soon and build a 1.5 without any featu...

For a next 1.5 I would agree to you.

But - I hope - in this case it will probably be a major update 2.0. Our bug- and wish list was and it is very long ...

Re: do you have any experience with the SUB l/R outputs?

Moog One can only send on one midi channel you can define. Standard is midi channel 1. Your DAW maps this basic to your actually selected midi track. e.g. Create a midi track in your DAW an set it to channel 3. Play something an your moog. The moog sends on midi channel 1 and the DAW will record thi...

Re: do you have any experience with the SUB l/R outputs?

The Moog One can receive on a different midi channel for each synth via Logic in my setup.
I think, Ableton should be able, too,

Re: How to cary a sound from one user space to another

Hi Martin,

the Im-/Export function will do this. Export your preset(s) to USB Drive and Import from there into the new user space.

Best regards
Tom
