Re: Multimoog

Hi Tim, You're quite right about EBay, There's one listed now for $4995.00 plus $250 shipping! I found three Multimoogs on Reverb for much more reasonable prices, all located in the U.S.: Fair condition - $1300 + $75 shipping Good condition - $1500 + $85 shipping Very good condition - $1995 + $30 sh...

Re: is it possible to "ping" the filters of the murf?

Not surprised that the result from injecting the audio in with a CV impulse was kind of 'meh'. I didn't think the Q of the filter bands would be sharp enough to ring with any real 'umph'. I'll have to try this myself when I get the chance. Thanks for bringing this up and looking into it!

Re: is it possible to "ping" the filters of the murf?

By 'pinging', do you mean apply a very short transient CV to the input to excite the filter bands in the MuRF?

Re: What happened to OS 3.6

Thanks for the refresh Markyboard. Don't know how I missed that release. As you probably know, Rudi has been there every step of the way with bug fixes and feature enhancements over the many years that the Voyager was in production, and deserves a great deal of thanks for his tireless efforts suppor...

Re: What happened to OS 3.6

Hello Rokatansky, The last Voyager OS posted on KnobTweak is 3.6_Beta, with a 1/6/16 release date. Yours seems to be later than that by more than a year, but perhaps it's the same thing as the beta. But to answer your question, AFIAK OS 3.6 is the latest and last OS. Rudi can confirm. Speaking of Kn...

Quite happy with this one. It’s a music that I love, but couldn’t ever play it because I’m not a cello player.

Nicely done! :D

What was the preset that you used for that piece?

Re: Grandmother Road case/gig bag?

Here's the Gator G-LCD-TOTE-SMX2 case, customized with a Moog sticker. It has roughly the same dimensions as the GM box and fits the GM like a glove:

Re: Grandmother Flightcase?

Not a hardshell flight case, but since not everyone needs one, I thought I'd offer this as a possible alternative for transporting and protecting the GM: a Gator G-LCD-TOTE-MDX2. It's actually a soft case to carry two large LCD screens side-by-side, but the velcro separator pad is easily repositione...

Re: Voyager: possible to damage ext in, with hot signal?

I have been experimenting with boost & drive FX via the external input on my voyager (the mix-out/insert cable I built via Knobtweak instructions is working great! ) Ummagumma, In case you missed it on KnobTweak, you might take a look at this article: Kicking It Up A Notch - Overdrive technique...

Re: Moog Grandmother as Moog Modular Controller

Yeah, I think it'll be a great tool in the arsenal! What's your modular setup like? What would you like to do with the Grandmother? Only downside I can think of (if you consider this one) is the cables needing to all be 1/8" to 1/4" conversions to interconnect from Grandmother to Modular....
