Re: 3 synthy can be controlled by 3 Midi cannels ?
(...) moog one sends Midi data out on Channel 1,2 and 3 (while using LIVE 10) even when I have only Synth 1 used with a sound and the other Synths are emty! It doesn't matter if any of the synths are empty or not. If keyboard control is on for all three synths, you will be sending MIDI on three cha...

Re: How to set sequencer Gate time for Step Mod?
Don't target the filter cutoff directly. Consider step-modulating the filter envelope instead.
You could sequence e.g. the decay time and envelope amount. (You can use any of the four envelopes).

Re: Wireless (Qwerty) Keyboard
Correction: a wireless keyboard does work, but only via a 2.4Ghz RF connection (a keyboard has to have an RF dongle). Bluetooth keyboards are not supported.

Matriarch Settings Editor for iPad?
Is anybody working on something like this? I wonder if Metagrid could be used to change the settings.

Re: Wireless (Qwerty) Keyboard
I tried, didn't work. M1 doesn't support BT dongles.

Re: Moog One crash / hang
USB is just a modern replacement for traditional MIDI cables. You can create a MIDI loop regardless of the type of connection. Check your setting on M1 and in Logic. Especially the MIDI clock routing. Please note that M1 doesn't have yet a proper "Local Off" mode for interfacing with a DAW.

Re: Moog One crash / hang
If your M1 is connected via MIDI, you may have created a MIDI loop, which would cause a hang.

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
Try copying your preset to a second layer, then program this layer to have 1 note polyphony (poly count 1). Use the aftertouch on just this layer. Thanks, this is an interesting programming tip. The resulting voice doubling would be noticeable for thinner patches though, so a dedicated pseudo-poly ...

Re: Moog One FEATURE Requests
I would love to have a setting for aftertouch to only affect the last played note. This method is used to mimic poly-aftertouch on Baloran The River.

What's your MO Arpeggiator + DAW workflow?
How do you make it work? Recording the MIDI output of the MO Arp into Cubase doesn't work (inconsistent and off-the-grid, see the screenshot below). Screen Shot 2020-10-08 at 12.27.48 PM.png The only way I found is recording straight midi notes from another keyboard, filtering out the MIDI output of...

Re: FM waveform
a workaround for you would be using a high-speed random LFO as modulator.
To further increase the speed of an LFO by in the MOD Matrix by:

FM waveform
Does anybody know if the restriction on the FM knobs to only use the sawtooth/triangle output of an oscillator is hardwired in MO? I would love to be able to use the square wave for harsher modulation. E.g. a filter cutoff FM'ed with a square wave sounds much more aggressive. Yes, I can use a square...
