100K is correct per later Moog service update pages for serial numbers above 2000.

Offhand, I think you're right.
The VCA trimmer normally is used to adjust out thump.
There shouldn't be any oscillator bleed through at all, no matter how set.

The external part of the ribbon is a piece of teflon coated fabric tape on top of a piece of thin rubber.
If the teflon is worn, only replacing it will be a solution. (I have some.)
If it's not worn away, standard non-petroleum based cleaners should do.
For example, window cleaner.
