Re: BOoting Moog one stuck on loading screen

Thanks for posting this. I couldn't get my Moog One to finish booting either. Unplugging a USB cable (that was going to my recently-updated-to-Catalina Mac for MIDI) and power cycling seemed to fix it. Incidentally, my Mac had also crashed.

Re: v1.4: Oscillator Compensation Calibration

No such problems here. Only the tuning is way better in the bass. So I used a bit of PITCH VARIANCE on a few patches where wide detuning sounded better. But I enjoy the other sounds here more well tuned. A user on FB had this alternate approach which I've been using and I like the way it sounds a l...

Re: v1.4: Oscillator Compensation Calibration

Try: - Init a patch - Turn Oscillator wave angle / mix so you see a big rectangle on the display - Turn the knob PULSE WIDTH full to the left and listen the sound - Then turn the knob full to the right and listen to the sound. I hear only a silent and tiny crackling sound. Is it normal? Yes, a squa...

Re: Your 4 biggest wishes

Isn't it what HARDWARE SETTINGS: KNOB MODE (ABSOLUTE, PASS THROUGH, RELATIVE) is for? Thanks for that! I had read most of the manual, but didn't get quite that far. This is what I'm talking about, but would ideally have a button to hold down to activate Pass Through mode temporarily. I'll play arou...

3. Visual Feedback of Waveform Modulation Currently, if you modulate an LFO or a VCO, there's no visual feedback, neither through LEDs, small displays nor the main screen. Particularly confusing are LFO's red LEDs blinking at a nominal rate, even if the rate is being modulated by another LFO. I was...

Re: More pitch CV blues

Did you ever get it to work? I was never able to get the pitch CV input to track correctly on mine either.

Re: microbrute cv/gate out - minitaur in = out of tune

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one on the forum with these findings. I also have 2 local friends, both of whom are electronic artists of some reknown, who have also tried with no success to get their Minitaurs to accurately track pitches using the CV inputs. One of them even brought his to Switche...

Re: Minitaur CV input and tuning

I have 2 friends who also own a Minitaur and could not get the CV tracking working correctly.

See my post here, and others in the thread for details: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.ph ... 15#p145645

Re: microbrute cv/gate out - minitaur in = out of tune

Update to my QuNexus CV attempts: it turns out that turning off the Minitaur and turning it back on changes the pitches all over again — something closer to the A-flat thing that was being talked about above, but it's not consistent over octaves. The good news is that you can get the lower notes aga...

Minitaur CV with QuNexus controller

This thread seemed the most relevant, so I am posting my findings here... I've heard from a couple of my semi-pro musician friends that the CV inputs on the Minitaur have issues, and seeing that there was a new firmware out for it, I decided to run some tests on my Minitaur and see if it had the pro...

Re: Filter knob no longer works since update

Since updating to the 2.1 firmware and running the 3.0 editor, I can no longer use the Envelope Filter knob on the front panel of the synth. It turns manually as normal but it neither changes the sound, nor updates the virtual knob in the editor. The virtual filter knob in the editor works, though,...

Re: Minitaur v3.0 editor and v2.1 firmware released!

It's great that firmware 2.1 supports "custom tuning scales," as this is something that myself and a few others asked for.

I've just updated and installed the new editor, and I can't find any way to access this. There's nothing in the manual about it at all.

Any hints?

Re: Minitaur firmware update soon - your requests here pleas

If it's not too late to add a feature request, I'd love to see an alternate scale editor like the Little Phatty has.

Cheers!
