Re: Minimoog sofa
Don't worry if you can't find it. Soon a Behringer Model D Sofa will hit the market at $19,99.

Re: MiniMoog to Minitaur CV
I was just getting the same high note out the the Minitaur I got that as well the first time I tried cv (using an external cv source). I managed to get tones instead by calibrating via firmware. I know it is a vague answer, but find calibration in the settings, and then you should be able to calibr...

Re: MiniMoog to Minitaur CV
Hey I hope this is not a question for which there is no answer but to make fun of me, but shouldn't this work for playing the Minitaur using CV from the Monimoog? Pitch CV out on the MiniMoog into the Pitch CV in of the Minitaur, shouldn't I be able to play note for note this way? I am not s...

Re: Model D production ending
I will probably never own one. But it is my top wish. No doubt about it. I actually played one before a high-school party in 1979, where the bass player in the band for the entertainment part of the evening had a model D. How he got one is in retrospect a mystery to me. He was a poor bass player, an...

Re: Where Do I Go From Here?
You are entering an endless territory. :D I am a newbie myself. Mainly a guitar player, I have started to embrace synths as I started getting Moogerfoogers for my guitar rig. I would recommend the MF-102 Ring Modulator. It gives so much, and is among the "cheaper" MFs. As for sequencers, I...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
HI actually had a prerelease/prototype version of the Retroverb Lancet to play with before I bought the final thing, I gave Vermona a bit of feedback on it which went into the final unit. (I live in Germany.) Ah, nice!! :) Enjoy - the Retroverb is a worthwhile investment. Yup, I've found a used one...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
Vermona Retroverb Lancet This appears as a great, great unit (so you do own something that makes me jealous :D ). Almost a Moogerfooger-style unit (times 4-5). Would this successfully become a small analog synthesizer with the oscillator of the Freqbox (controlled by a cv keyboard)? Thanks for ment...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
I wanted a solid synth for both bass and (in particular) higher pitch melody/soloing. I have a MiniBrute, which is fun, but there is only so much you can get it to sound. So I wanted an upgrade. Model D is economically infeasible for me, and the Sub37 is also a bit too highly priced for me (being in...

Great clips. Nice to see Bill Bruford looking good in the background! And yes, Rick was hilarious.

Re: Plugged wrong power supply into MF-101 -- repair questio
Why not contact Moog directly, and send it in for a repair or a qualified repair technician. I suspect examination of the circuit board and a signal trace will find the problem. If you are non-US, Moog can't help. You will have to use one of their international dealers unfortunately. I tried gettin...

Re: Sub37 VS NI Komplete
I have NI Komplete and "real" instruments as the Minitaur (and a couple of other ok analog hardsynths + foogers and some outboard gear) and guitars. I think of these two type of products as impossible to compare, and I enjoy both. To me they are complements. You can readily get some decent...

Re: Behringer Model D - $400
And, as I said earlier, I seriously doubt that Behringer could achieve the level of quality and, more importantly, the sound of a genuine Minimoog D for $400. And even if he did, there will always be a plus value of getting the real thing, crafted by hand by passionate and talented artists. Not som...

Re: Moogerfooger Idea
The MF-107 is just a piece of junk in my opinion. It is indeed special, but quite good for guitar. It is growing on me. Anyway, as I see it, it is worthwhile alone for the oscillator. It gives a great third bass to my Minitaur. I use a Doepfer DarkLink midi->cv to control the frequency, and it trac...

Nah, I don't think so. But interesting theory.alien_brain wrote:looks like it could have some hidden ritualistic meaning.
