Oh man! What a prick! Hmmmm that calls for a new clinical term in the Moog Diagnostic handbook..... That could probably be Moog rejection...ill think of a better one. Eric Moog amputation? Moogotomy? Moogectomy? I kinda like Moogectomy. As in, Brian just suffered a Moogectomy. How about: un...

I meant, that in stereo , a patch sounds better if the filter is in -Dual Lowpass Mode (with the spacing set to zero; thus nullifying the stereo filter effect) A patch sounds weaker to me if the filter is set to -Lo/Hi pass mode (with the spacing set to -5; which should be low pass) I'm confused, b...

i am surprised that the OS is not more popular. i absolutely love mine. seems like it should have been more successful than a run off 400. i guess that we are just an extremely batch of 400 people :D I guess that for a LOT of people, the fact that the OS isn't at least MIDI equipped could be a down...

Re: Dual Lowpass vs. Regular Lowpass on the Voyager
For some reason, the dual lowpass (with the spacing set to zero) sounds better than the regular lowpass on my Voyager. Anyone else experience a change between the filter modes? What do you mean by "regular lowpass"? The voyager has 2 lowpass filters that can be used in parallel with the o...

The knobs on my OS are all reasonably stiff, and consistently from one to the other. They're not the sealed types (like the Allen Bradley type used in the original Minimoog) but they're of the Alpha brand (made in U.S.A.) with an expected life cycle of 10000+ turns! Of course with time, the silicone...

Are Voyagers supposed to have that gunky adhesive on the sides off the rocker switches? On all my switches (except the Release and Glide) there's gummy stuff on the sides. I filed it off a few switched, though. No, I don't think so. The rocker switch sides on mine are exactly the same as the front ...

In all fairness I should mention that, aside from the minor flaws mine had, its electronics calibrating was flawless. And that, is the main important thing about an analog synthesizer. Also, I realize that each one of the +/- 400 Old School produced is assembled by hand (with pride), by dedicated pe...
