Re: Model D, Key problem
So you are talking about a vintage Minimoog. There are two rows of contact springs: one for pitch and one for gate/trigger. If the springs or the two bus bars (the metal parts the springs touch) are worn out their galvanized plating, the contact is not good anymore. The don't make contact at the sam...

Re: No sound in DAW with Subsequent 25
Maybe you assume, the Subsequent is sending audio over USB. Most synths don't do this. They use USB for MIDI. So audio cables and a mixer/audiointerface and so on is needed. Maybe try using the headphones connected to the Subsequent.
But if you know this, there is maybe just a setting not done right.

Re: Moog 3band parametric Equalizer
No.
If adding just a bit of EQ could change the sound of one synth into the sound of another, we all would have saved a lot of money by doing so.

Re: Model D versus Voyager
I own a 1979 (SN above 10175 = Rev.3 VCO board) since the early eighties, a Voyager for 20 years and a 2016 Model D Reissue for nearly 7 years. The Reissue Model D got THE Moog sound, due to using Minimoog Rev. 2 VCO boards as target, while the 1979 does not sound that bold. The Voyager sounds more ...

Re: MOOG ONE VS PTOPHET TEN AND OB8X
I own (nearly, as I got an early Waldorf Quantum) four of the synths in this comparison. And I think this chart is near to my experience. But I think the 3rd Wave got a special unique character, once you don't judge it as just a VA synth. And I like its filter character.

Re: Subsequent 37 Audio passing with filter closed?
Even if the cutoff is all the way down, the filter envelope is able to open it, if the envelope amount is high enough. And when the sustain is not zero, it will stay open. This is normal. Also Filter tracking (the keyboard) opens up the filter a bit too, but this is on most synths not enough to open...

Re: Minitaur Midi Clock LED
I think it is just not the right description in the manual. A manual bug like thing. As this setting is changing a thing, here seeing the LED flash on the MIDI clock related Start/Stop commands, it is most likely working as intended. But the manual is just wrong. This wouldn't be the first case of a...

Re: Minitaur Midi Clock LED
As MIDI clock are send like 24 clock ticks per quarter note, you would note be able to see each clock signal with the human eye, unless you got down to slow BPM rates like 20 or less. So the MIDI clock is not suitable to be used as optical information in a visual metronome like way. And if a synth e...

Re: Subsequent 37: Note Trigger Issue?
There is a MULTI TRIG button in the two envelope sections. You may also adjust the keyboard priority depending on what you would like to have. Vintage Moog had nearly all low note priority. So no new trigger or pitch, if you played a note above an already pressed key. There is also high and last not...

This would work, but only for monophonic played (= one note at a time) VST instruments.

Re: Panelsettings and sound om my Minimoog Voyager change spontaneously
The power to the knobs is not stable and clean. And therefor the pot scanning gives random values around the set value.

There are some Voyagers out there in the fields with a different brand of keybed.
