Sorry he died so young, same with the drummer who died last year. I love DEVO and I really liked both of their playing styles!

I think it's great they are being reissued but I was never a fan of them. Wasn't impressed with the layout or sound in particular.

The description sounds like it's a vocoder or something:
"Sound frequency filters for controlling audio parameters by raising or lowering the gain of specific audio frequencies using a resonant filter"

I think it is time we get a new version of the Moog 960 - redesigned for the modern age.
