Those synths with all of that sweet sounding mind altering beautiful harmonies don't sound quite as good as a Moog either. You don't buy a violin so you can get 10 note stacked chords. A violin does what a violin does and a Moog does what a Moog does. This debate has been going on since the first Mo...

Eric, Im not exactly sure why the mini stopped production. Im speculating that it coudl have been due to financial constraints because Ill bet that Bob wanted to leave the company by 78. Im just guessing because I don't have the firsthand knowledge. I also have to admit that I don't know a whole lot...

I think the Voyager sells itself. I know what you mean about just hitting a key and it does everything. SOme of the newer ROland Synths are like that. You can definately play the voyager, even to just get noises it still needs tewaking hehe. If you get a voyager, i think you woudl find yourself want...

Boy that thing looks clean! I have seen a few on the great demon spawn that is ebay every few years. Id love to own one to go right by my Micro. However i don't think i have room in my heart for another monosynth. Im goign to expand the voyager with the Modular unitrs over time and then invest in a ...

There was another film that featured a moog modular in the background, but that film is not appropriate for this forum  :D I'm now trying to imagine possible titles. Miranda Does Extreme Filter Modulation? Multiple Oscillator Extravaganza? The Clockwork Cucumber? Emmanuelle Goes Hocketing?...

I have always heard that you never run anything but a guitar through a guitar amp. Surely you can use any other instrument within the guitars register, but to the best of my knowlege if you try to run a bass through there even at low volumes you can ruin the speaker. THe rhodes most definately puts ...

hehe You know, as one Eric to another, I gotta say that I love the Micro. Sure it has limited functions because its just a cornerstones worth of tools. But its a fabulous board. I think one would make almost any board look bad when compared to another especitlaly the Mini. Id love to have a multi to...

whats the best way to mount your Foogers with the voyager?
The best way that i saw to have the voyager with the foogers was the cabinet that was on the Sonic INfinity DVD. The arcade style modular system was awesome. However Im using just a tabletop Voyager and a Ring Mod. I can't decide if i shoudl get the CP or the VX expander. Im leaning more towards the...

THe difference between Foogers and vintage synth modules?
What exactly are the differences between the old modules of yesteryear and the foogers? Now the magazines describe one as "4 synth modules in 1" I ask this because it appears that they are molded after a guitarists stomp boxes and not really marketed as synth modules persay. Also, if you g...

The great thing about the Murf is that you can use it as a EQ also, an effect all Rhodes' DESPERATELY need. Cut the lows and highs and boost the mids. A graphic EQ is really the key to making the rhodes sparkle. I have to disagree with you on this just slightly. BECAUSE, i tend to think that the Rh...
