Re: Matriarch Midi Velocity

Thanks for pointing it out Mark, I see that it does increase what could be around 1 volt based on the last value the unit send before turning local to off, and it does not change at all

Re: Grandmother Glide/Legato problem

It works fine here, using firmware 1.1.1

Try calibrating the unit, that might make a difference: https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/ar ... nd-update/

Re: Matriarch Midi Velocity

Indeed, as soon as I turned Local to Off, the velocity out on the back stopped working. It stays on the highest voltage/value

And yes, when the new 5.1 global setting mirrors the velocity, that output sends the velocity properly

I also did the test with a MIDI cable with the same result

Re: Matriarch Midi Velocity

I haven't tried using the arpeggiator's Vel out, I used the KB Vel on the back to Cutoff 1 and used Ableton's Push as a controller. MIDI over USB, have yet to try with a DIN cable from my soundcard

Re: Matriarch Midi Velocity

It seems to be working fine on firmware 1.2.1 which was released last week. Didn't try it earlier, though

Re: Grandmother: Multi trig issue with the new firmware

It works fine here, just as expected.

Did you make sure you use the F#2 and A#1 to select the parameter, and press twice G0 to set it to on?

Re: I’m new please help me get sound out of my minitaur?

Try using the official editor, you are able to download it from the site as soon as you register your product

That way you can change the volume CC 7 using your mouse, using the standalone version or the plugin. Maybe changing presets from there might make it work as well

Re: Mother 32 assignable output is too slow

Do you have the latest firmware? You can use lots of different subdivisions, they can even be changed in realtime and set your DFAM to whichever figure you want it to

Re: sync M32 to DFAM

Patch the TRIGGER out from the DFAM into the TEMPO in of the Mother 32. Set the Tempo Input mode to Mode 3 – Analog Clock (i.e., use Shift + Reset/Accent + Set End + 8, use arrows to go to page 3 of the settings, press 3). Hit Run on the DFAM and Run/Start on the Mother 32. The Mother 32 will be in...

Re: Grandmother Decay Time Bad Scaling

Mine behaves in a similar way, but I don't consider this a malfunction One thing that might be confusing is that past 12 o'clock there doesn't seem to be any change, at least when you have an arpeggiator running. The thing here is, there is no way to set the gate length on the Grandmother's arpeggia...

Re: Minitaur no sound

Yes, it is receiving MIDI if the light flashes

Try opening the filter, turning both VCOs levels up and sending a CC 7 (volume) from the automation section inside a clip in Ableton

Re: Matriarch stringer sounds?

You can use the included delay as a chorus effect as well, by modulating its time (at its lowest level) with the extra LFO

I place each oscillator in a different waveform and put a slow LFO on the main modulation, assigned to PWM, and it can do some very fat and profound pads

Re: MATRIARCH - Filter Exploding

Indeed, filter tracking might be one of the reasons for the filter to "explode". Additionally, the levels on the Matriarch's mixer should be set way below the middle so the oscillators are very clear for pads and polyphony in general, as opposed to using them stacked for massive leads and ...
