Re: Triggering sub phatty or minitaur with midi bass.
Speaking as a guy who is a bass player FIRST, and been through a thousand variations on exploring "synth-bass", my final solution was to play synth with keyboards. The MIDI pickups are ok, but tracking is always an issue, and using filters, octaves, fuzz, and modulation effects boxes with ...

Re: HELP!!!!! little phatty moog minimal presets?????
The key to making the sounds you want, is understanding analog subtractive synthesis. Don't think of the Phatty as a machine with "presets", but rather, explore the oscillator section, the filter section, the envelope gen section, and of course, the modulation section. Each section interac...

Re: Want breath control for your Moog??
I have several non-Moog synths that have breath control, but never knew exactly what type of controller I needed to make that work. So much to know.

Re: Sub Phatty: What is "Activate Panel" for?
It's not really any different on the Little Phatty. If you're in panel active mode, and want to return to the "preset", you have to push the preset button. The difference is, SubPhatty has no LCD screen, so when you want to go back to "panel active", you press a button. I don't u...

That is one serious pedalboard. It was cool before, but now I'm totally jealous. Nice stuff.

Re: Will replacing my Stage with a Stage II solve tuning iss
It sounds to me like you have a problem, that is to say, with that particular Phatty. I've owned a Stage I, and currently have a Stage II, and neither one has had this issue you describe. In fact, my Stage II is ready to play almost instantly. Excuse me if you already know this, but Osc 2's frequenc...

Re: Possibile to get a sound like this on the PHATTY?
Agreed, there's nothing special about that Voyager patch, and a Phatty can certainly cover a sound like that. Realise also, in the video, a couple of Foogers were being used as well. You can use any fx you want with a Phatty, and delay especially is very useful. But, it's time to learn subtractive s...

Nice, and some cool gear to boot. Voyager sounds so "natural", almost organic. Love the Waldorf Q, too. Thanks.

Re: help! anyone here own a Virus TI?
I've owned a Virus KB, which was fine as a standalone, but buggy when interfaced with almost anything. Currently using a Waldorf Blofeld KB in it's place, which is different, but every bit as good, and as deep a digital synth as you'll find anywhere. The Blofeld has less "hands-on" control...

The Moog LP bag is custom fit for the LP, and nothing else is.

Re: 'Keyboard Amps'
I like the Roland KC 350 alot, which is handy for its 4 chan mixer, but many times, I'll use a Mesa M3 Carbine bass head through a variety of bass cabs instead. Favorite so far, as a persoanl monitor, is the M3 through an Aguilar DB210. Fairly small, but plenty of volume, and handles the full freque...

Re: Something rattling around in my T3!
I have something inside my LP Stage 2 as well. Haven't opened it up to see, as it's not really causing any issues, but everytime I pick it up to pack/unpack, I hear it rattling away.

Re: Sub Phatty ships with patch editor
I don't know about the editor, and not sure about the sticker either, BUT, received a nice letter with a MOOG sticker in the mail yesterday. Haven't bought any Moog gear for a good while. But, there it was. If you don't expect it, it'll be a surprise.

Re: Little Phatty--Live Step Sequencer Suggestions
The Dark Time is top of my list, but have you also considered something from DSI, like a MoPho or Evolver(?) Built-in 16x4 analog sequencers.
