There is an option in Cakewalk that resets controllers when a sequence is stopped. This can be disabled. I don't know the route through the menu, I don't have CW on this PC.

The pitch wheel was an option from the factory.

No clue on the ext trigger switch, sounds like it was customized.

Yes this is normal. The scale on the front panel is semitones. +7 semitones is one whole note above a fifth.

Some way of attenuating Osc 3 when it's frequency modulating Osc 1 would open up a whole new palette of interesting (and slightly less hard !) sounds- easy peasy on the next update ? I did that using a mod buss, although it is expo FM as opposed to linear FM with the front panel switch. Separate wa...

There are no custom ICs in a Prodigy. Some parts like the CA3080 aren't made anymore but there should be leftover new stock at places like Digikey or Mouser, and some techs keep a stock of these NOS around or scavenge them from dead synths. Definitely not as rare as SSM or CEM chips.

"Ground loop"

You may need to lift ground inside the 1/4" plug on the cable connecting your minimoog to the mixer. Lift the end that plugs into the mixer.

Is your computer and minimoog plugged into the same circuit as your audio gear? If not you may need to.

A Rhodes piano does not have many harmonics, it's a very mellow sound that wouldn't benefit much from a subtractive filter. Now a Clavinet has TONS of harmonics that will sound good through the Voyager filters. As does bass guitar, electric guitar, snare drum... I recently put my Fender Jazz bass th...

I bought TWO MF-104s before they sold out.

It was later that I found out that the Voyager is stereo.

Nothing like touchpad modulated filter spacing S&H noises through two MF104s. MMmmmmm...

I play left hand bass on the Voyager in an R&B band and I use an old Moog Synamp biamped to push a Bose 802 and a Peavey 2x15 bass cabinet. Serious pumping especially on those low B notes.
