Re: Ableton Freeze Channel Question?

Soft synths can do this, because the audio is generated via software. Hardware synths need to be recorded via your audio interface. If there would be Moog software that could do this, they would not need hardware synths anymore  There are emulators out there (Omnisphere) that have Moog digital...

Re: Sub37 in Duo mode -> Pattern SEQ != REC ?

REC is only used to record a sequence.
Not to play it back.
You use SEQ when playing back a sequence.
That should work like that.

Not sure if Moog intended it to work different in REC mode than in SEQ mode, but for playing back you should use SEQ mode.

Patch from Scratch on the Subsequent 37

A fellow youtuber asked how I made a sound on another video that demonstrated the Source Audio Collider.
I re created it in this video

Re: Syncing Subharmonicon to Sub37

Are both midi ports set ON (at least DIN)
Can you test on another device if the midi is sending the clock (to make sure the S37 is the actual issue)

Re: Sub 37 Filter Knob Gone Wobbly

To my best knowledge, this is a known issue on the first Sub37 series.
But I could be wrong.
I have a subsequent and that works fine.

Ambient 'flute' patch with Source Audio Collider

Making a 'ambient flute' patch with the Subsequent 37 paired with a Source Audio Collider
Too bad my camera can only record sequences of 10min.
It was hard to stop playing....

Ok, strange.
Mine did not work ok without it.
But after that I never had issues with connecting.

Did you install the USB drivers from the Moog site?

Creating a sub bass patch

Last night I needed a sub bass patch for a project I'm working on. Guess what : I used the subsequent 37 for that. It was rather simple, but I love how it fills the 'lower end' without getting in the way. I made a short video how I made it (with the editor screen in the end) https://www.youtube.com/...

Re: Filter sounds off on certain keys (Sub 37)

I have no clue what is the problem.
My first question was if you could record something.
Maybe even via your telephone and share it on youtube or so.

Re: Lower octave note triggers when using the octave switch for the oscjllators

I have noticed this too.
It is indeed 'unwanted' but not a big issue for me.
The only moment I did really not like it was when I wanted to modulate the octave with a square lfo.
Otherwise I don't change that while playing.

Re: Experiencing an awful Moog Subsequent 37 bug where presets are being overwritten/duplicated by Editor VST

Yes, this is a nasty bug that some users experience (myself included). I hunted it down to the PRG CHANGE setting. Try to disable the SEND option (you can leave RECEIVE enabled). I tried to debug this for some months, pulling my hair out. I finally installed Midi Ox (or something like that) to insp...
