Re: Bass > Sonuus B2M > T-3
Oops, I didn't realize that the sonuss tracked only monophonic notes (instead of only sending out one midi note). But with a hexaphonic pickup it would be cool to control several moogs with a Taurus as the lowest note.

Re: Voyager controlling Taurus...a Question
The offset will "rescale" the signal, and you just have to tune it correctly. An attenuator will shrink the size of the available range, while an offset/polarizer/inversion/whathaveyou will shift that range.

There are no MIDI cables plugged in. I wish my Voyager had those awesome piano sounds built in!

Re: Let's create the ultimate synth together
The voyager doesn't have sine waves. Sine waves are not really useful in subtractive synthesis, and triangle waves get the job done well.
As for interfaces, I really want to see a good synth with a touchscreen control interface, like the one on the Euphonix MC series of control surfaces.

Re: Bass > Sonuus B2M > T-3
If you can set the T3 to lowest note MIDI priority, that would be cool because you could always have it playing the lowest note of your guitar chord.

How smooth are the pitch bends? I've been thinking about getting the guitar one.

Re: Let's create the ultimate synth together
Automated sliders would break more easily than knobs.
I'd go with a modern version of an EMS pin panel, like on the Vostok.
I personally am not in the market for a Moog poly, but i think around 4-4.5k would be a good price range, with a 2.5-5k rack model.

So my Taurus was supposed to ship on the 19th, but that didn't happen. So I will know more next week. At least I will have it soon!

Re: Little Phatty vs. Voyager: With one should I buy?
To me, the Little Phatty is like a Chevy and the Voyager is like a Ferrari. While a lot of guys want a Ferrari, (as I eventually want a Voyager) a Ferrari would not be a good thing to give a 16 year old driver. I got my Voyager when I was 15, and now I can get around a modular better than most. Buc...

Re: Little Phatty vs. Voyager: With one should I buy?
I personally would get bored with just an LP fairly quickly, as it lacks many basic modulation options. The Voyager is also easier to learn basic subtractive synthesis on because each knob only does one thing (until you dig deeper and program pot mappings). If you can spring for a Voyager, definitel...
