I noticed this too. They're working on it. Expect an update.

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

OK, one more bug related to the Arpeggiator: When coming out of the arpeggiator, the LP does not resume its standard octave setting. Instead, it retains the octave set by the arpeggiator when you left it. For example, set up a 3 octave arp, play around with it, and stop the arpeggiator (ie, click on...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Can you email me a patch of yours that does this? Wilco. Also you might try exporting all your presets as sysex, doing a factory restore then test for this issue again. If you don't experience the problem (which I sincerely hope), dump your patches back in and check again. No change. The error is e...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Just updated my LP Stage v1, and have noticed what I think is a bug in the new update (671). I'm getting pitch glitching on Osc2 while using the Mod Wheel. It doesn't happen on all notes, or on the same note all the time. For example, I was just using a patch which opens the filter with the mod whee...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

oh geez... yes gate length to mod wheel would be awesome. No I don't think I can pull that off easily enough. In any case gate length is currently a percentage of whatever the current step length (tempo * clock division), that's how I intend to keep it, for simplicity. It used to be 100% and is now...

Re: New Firmware v3.1 for Slim Phatty, LP Stage and Tribute

Does the Arp Gate have to be tied to a note division, or could it be any fraction? That is, if you're arp-ing 1/4 notes, would the gate division have to be a choice of 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 (say) or could you dial in something like 99% to keep the length but lose the always-on problem? Personally I think e...

Re: Does the phatty have the same grit/rawness of old moogs?

I have both a Rogue and an LP. They are indeed different - the LP is creamier, the Rogue always feels like it would rather be doing its own thing. The Rogue is good for sound effects and very quick adjustments, the LP has the great advantage of memories. The Rogue squeals a little more, has limited ...

Re:

Anyway, I love my Little Phatty and am getting a Rogue next week to keep it company. I have the same pairing - I sometimes run MIDI out from the LP to a Kenton Pro Solo which then controls the Rogue - and the Rogue's audio output goes back into the LP. Set the Rogue to Bypass envelope triggering, a...

Re: delay for LP?

It's also extremely nice with the LP :-) I use a number of delays, and second any recommendations for the EHX Memory Boy. It doesn't do everything though. It's not dark enough for some things. Don't overlook the pseudo-analogue PT2399 types, such as the cheap Biyang and similar units like the Artec....

Re: Little Phatty as MIDI keyboard

I had issues with using the mod wheel on certain synths and reassigned the Modulation knob for that duty. I have one 'silent' patch called "ext control" which is set up for use on other synths in that way. Other than that, it seems fine to me. Not enough keys for much poly work though... e...

Mod wheel causing MIDI trouble?

I've been using my LP as a controller lately, and have suddenly run into unexpected problems with some aspects of MIDI recording and playback. I'm running an Intel iMac with 10.6.4 and Logic Express 9. My two MIDI interfaces are a MOTU MIDI Express 128 and M-Audio Midisport 8x8. Each are on their ow...
