I've plugged the OSC OUT of my FreqBox into my Soundcraft Compact 4 mixer without any problems. I don't think you have to worry about mixers that much, but watch out for extreme low or high frequencies being sent to your speakers.

It IS interesting. Or maybe someone with a Stage II can inform us regarding the squishiness of their buttons?

Thanks for the replies. Sounds like there is more to consider than I thought.
I think I'll just get an external MIDI/CV converter instead and save any potential headaches.

Different buttons - hard and soft

I searched this forum for 'buttons' and found some people complaining about them, while others were quite happy. I think Moog actually changed the buttons somewhere in the middle of the Stage 1 run. Can anyone confirm this? Before buying, I played a Stage 1 at Guitar Center. The buttons felt like th...

CV/Gate output modification?

I'm thinking I'd like to modify my LP to have CV/Gate outputs. I figured I could just use the CV/Gate input jacks that are already there instead of drilling new holes. Has anyone else thought of this, or tried it? In theory, it should be as simple as locating the CV/Gate signals on the circuit board...

Don't take this as an official answer, just a guess: if you can put the original sides back on, then how will they ever know you took them off in the first place? I don't think there is a sticker or a seal that will be broken by replacing the end caps.

Just got an LP....should I sell my MF-101?

I've had an MF-101 for a long time, and just this week I bought a Little Phatty. So I'm thinking now that I have the Moog sound in a complete synth, I shouldn't need the MF-101 anymore, right? The envelope follower is nice, as is the 2-pole switch, but I just don't know if it is worth keeping. Does ...

Re: Using Two MF-101 for Stereo?

Is the only way to create a stereo MF-101 with the MP-201? Back to the original question. You're asking about how to control two 101s at the same time? I'm pretty sure you could simply use a Y-splitter cable from whatever CV source you are using (EP-2, etc.) Or you could use a Multiple, as found on...

according to the diagram of the "white" cp-251 the attenuators go from "0" (9 o´clock) to "10" (5 o´clock) and the downloadable manual still shows the picture of the "red" one, so AFAIK nothing new on the new cp-251. I just got my 251 and the attenuators go f...

thats exciting! that was the one thing i wish the MF101 had was to beable to switch the env direction like on the mutron and Qtron. now if i could get the new Cp, a freqbox and a sequencer i would be set for long awhile I thought from the post above that we determined there has been no change in th...
