Re: Moog Ring Modulator and Voyager
The footswitch will send either the bypassed audio or the effected audio, depending on the position of the switch. CV is sent regardless of the status of the footswitch. You can run the CV through a CC pedal which will attenuate it fully.

It doesn't work for your style so therefore it is a piece of junk? Hmmm, I'll have to take that in mind whenever I read any of your other posts...

Re: How does Keith Emerson get this sound?
He's using two or three oscillators tuned to different pitches. A simple yet very effective way of patching a minimoog or a modular. If you want to do this with the Mother32, you'll need a few more oscillators. A Werkstatt or two is a good way to go about it, as it going Eurorack.

Re: Do all foogers use the same PSU
Moog has been coming out with 400ma power supplies for the MF series. I think they are for the MF108M and MF 104M or possibly just the MF104MSD. I got a couple of them and always make sure they are powering the BBD chips and Murfs.

Re: Deregistering products?
It's a rather prehistoric web registration thing. I put in the wrong number for one of my units and couldn't correct it. So no... you can't de-register anything.

Get a phone card so you can call Moog tech guys cheaply. They are not ignoring you, though at times email is not the fastest way to reach them. They are most equipped to help you out.

Re: Any Mother-32 Questions?
Go with the Foogers first. They are best at manipulating the LP's existing sound. The Mother is great for getting your feet wet in synthesis patching, though you don't have to pair it with Euro, it's just easiest to. Get a conversion box or just make your own custom cables and you can patch the Moth...

You are a moogerfooger maniac! How many of them do you have now? :D Eh, they come and they go. I keep them somewhere around 14 or 15. I could use to let go of 4 or 5 of them, maybe pick up a second phaser once again. Anyone wanna trade me a phaser for a ring mod? I certainly don't need three of the...

Re: Strange problem with my Moog Guitar, appreciate any help
Yes, but it would still be hard to diagnose the problem and im still looking for solutions. Easy to say it won't work. Almost as easy as just calling them. I had a Fooger that wasn't working fully, I called them and they diagnosed the problem over the phone. One IC later and I was back on the road ...

Re: MF-102, mf-103: 12-15 volts?
The Foogers are designed to work within a set range. Too low of a voltage and the components may not work the way they were designed. Too high of a voltage and components will lose their magic smoke. To the best of my understanding, there is no inherent increase of anything by pushing that upper lim...
