Re: MF-108m noise solution
It makes sense that the low notes are noisier... you are playing the delay time as you know, and lower notes mean longer delay times - which also mean more noise... the delay time multiplier option is a great example of this... the 8x multiplier shows the really degraded signal noise quite well... S...

a Malekko Sneak Attack works okay as an AD envelope.
With some modding it might even work as an ASD, but I haven't figured that out yet...

Re: MF-101 Input Trimmer?
I don't believe there is - I assume you have turned the drive knob back? The bummer about the drive knob is that it affects output volume too. Suggestions: - put a booster after it with drive set low, booster to bring volume back to unity. - try running it at 13V to gain a bit of headroom - VERY MAX...

Re: MF-105M Midi MuRF as an EQ/Drive Pedal
Yup, agree as well. The drive has a different character than the other - less warm I suppose, more top end and a bit grittier / rougher sounding. It's a great sound, and of course having the "EQ" section makes it that much more awesome.

Re: Multi-Moogerfooger power supply
I'm about to order one of the white 2.1mm reverse polarity (center positive) power adaptor cables http://www.voodoolab.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22_24_29 from Voodoo Labs for my MF102. I have the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power2 Plus. Do I need to flick the switch on the PP2 with the white (center +) cable?...

Re: Talk me into keeping my MF104M
It sounds like you should take full advantage of the MIDI abilities if you have it in your rig. You can use some parameters in a more precise way to achieve things like a subtle modulation, or key related time shifts. This unit takes time to learn and demands patience and subtle adjustment. You are ...

Re: I may have screwed up....bought Moog 104z
I really love the 104Z for its trail off and its EQ in the mix. It has a tendency to just sit behind what you are doing over top in a very beautiful way. The gritty tail really helps this along I find. The other advantage of the Z is the insert. You have an additional drive to add to make it even gn...

@Vsyevolod - RE: 107. Yes please more info would be great. I'm in love with my 107 now, wasn't a year ago... As for two, I have to agree that two clusterflux's would be too much for me, but exploring Haas effect would be fun with it. Having a feed back loop for it just opens up sooooooo much. Two ph...

Re: 104z + 104m to achieve stereo delay?
The 500 series is supposed to be the lowest noise design, then the 104SD, 104M etc. As for the noise you may have from a ClusterFlux or 104, I've found some careful low pass filtering can do wonders (in the EQ sense and not a MF-101 filter). A third -YES- for the ClusterFlux, it is an amazing tone s...

Re: Need a comparison between 108 and 103. Audio or words
ClusterFlux is awesome on bass. It can be subtle or extreme but mostly it's just thick. Running stereo is great for adding motion but also some clarity and oomph to the lines. With the amount turned down, and just a touch of feedback it works really well as an EQ that can really hide or emphasize th...

There is a drive and an output volume knob. If you crank the drive, turn down the output.
