I downloaded the SP presets and it worked fine for me, I guess it should work for 2.x machines.

Can't be sure, but just backup your own bank and give it a try And dump the single sounds you like.. Hope you'll find some cool stuff!

the solution might even be to turn the auto tune off! This sounds like such a case in which it might be the problem. The auto-tune doesn't take care of OSC 2, only OSC 1! It's easier to adjust the LP tune during playing when needed, but if properly warmed up it shouldn't need it during play.
