Re: [Solved] can't install Sub37 USB Driver in Win7

For a very long time after the release of firmware 1.2.0 and the software editor these versions weren't mentioned at all on the website. They only added these entries recently, but they were originally released in April 2016.

Re: Moog sub 37 Logic prox,Stuck Midi notes.

Do you disable local control on the synth when connecting the synth to your DAW? If not you may have a MIDI feedback loop going on: playing a key sending MIDI to your DAW and the DAW sending MIDI back to the synth, etc.

Re: Logic Pro X ruining Sub 37 sequences

Hello everyone, there is a problem that occurred to me lately. Whenever I connect my Sub 37 via USB to my computer while running Logic Pro X, the fundamental tones of some sequences are changing. With some sequences it is alternating back and forth, with some it is procedurally going down, with som...

Re: [Solved] can't install Sub37 USB Driver in Win7

I'm glad your problem is fixed, but what makes you think that firmware 1.2 was released only a couple of days ago? As far as I know Sub 37 firmware 1.2.0 was released in April of 2016. :)

Re: Editing control parameters

Assuming you are referring to the Sub 37 editor: the PGM SRC and PGM DEST settings are in the extended parameters section of the editor. You can see them in on page 2 of the Sub 37 editor manual. As explained to page you can click the the grey triangle at the bottom to show/hide the extended paramet...

Re: Sub 37 rumors/new features wishlist

Just a minor gripe here: Can you change the location where the Sub 37 editor stores/retrieves the sysex patches from '~/Library/Application support/Moog Music Inc./Sub 37' to '~/Documents/Moog Music Inc./Sub 37' , please? Or even better, make this user-configurable. You could create an alias pointi...

Re: Sub37 arpeggiator dropping out

I believe disabling local control on the synth should avoid MIDI feedback issues and then it should work without using two separate cables for MIDI.

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?

I don't think it's a problem to register, but it is a bit annoying when I bring my synth to a friend's studio that I have to go and search for that download link in my e-mail archive again. I'd rather just go to the Moog site and grab it there. They could also just track the number of downloads on t...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?

When you register and get the e-mail about the editor, the download link contains what appears to be a unique ID, probably connected to your Sub 37 registration. The URL in the mailing looks like http://moogmusic.us2.list-manage.com/track/click?u=<some-id>&id=<another-id>&e=<and-another-id>...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?

I don't know why, but only the older 1.1.0 firmware is linked on the download tab of the Sub 37 product page at https://www.moogmusic.com/products/phattys/sub-37#downloads-tab I would recommend registering your Sub 37 to automatically get notified of any new updates, but you can also directly downlo...

Re: Sub Phatty glitched/dropped notes

And you experience this issue when your Sub Phatty is connected to a DAW? If so, do you disable local control on the synthesizer? If not, you might have a MIDI feedback loop.

Re: Sub Phatty glitched/dropped notes

I don't think this was ever a known issue for older firmware versions, but just to be sure: what firmware version is your Sub Phatty running?

Re: Sub Phatty glitched/dropped notes

Instead of giving up so soon, I'd first contact Moog tech support and see if they can help you out. It doesn't sound like an issue I've heard about before, and I've been hanging out here since I bought my Sub Phatty in 2013.
