Re: Ribbon Controller

Niko, I'm glad you're enjoying your controller. What was the adjustment you had to make? Did Joe know about this, or was it something you figured out on your own? Hi 52weeks, the mentioned adjustment was simply to enable the gate-on function with the Voyager. My initial preset were set to "off&...

Re: Moog Rogue User Manual - Herb Deutsch

well, the status so far is that I now have a kind of a paper block consisting of several Rogue manual pages, sticked together by a kind of modified starch effect or so (I'm not a chemist). This is the result of a try I did to separate the glued pages by putting the manual into a bucket full of water...

Re: Ribbon Controller

I've got now my new Walking Stick ribbon controller. With the wooden design it fits nicely to my Voyager, even the poti-knobs are in a similar shape than the Moog ones. The mentioned toggle switch (thanks 52weeks) expands the possibilities in operation efficiantly. The sensitivity response allows re...

sneezing in Asheville

just a matter of curiosity, I've read that it is forbidden to sneeze in the public in Asheville. Is that true?

Re: musician

I've "learned" music by two influences. One was a real teacher to show me how I need to hold the flute and breath into it or how I should use the fingers onto a keyboard. Also the teacher(s) pushed me to do excercises until the next weekly lesson. At least an hour or so before the lesson I...

Re: Thanks Moog for the gift!

I didn't got any sticker up to now. I think the stickertransportionship was captured by pirates in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. And my stickers are in a pirates chest hidden on a secret treasure island. That's the only explanation I've found.

Re: volume knob but not volume control

Hi Thierry,

sorry for my late reply to your recommendations. Do you want to attend the Lippstadt workshop? If yes I would appreciate very much to discuss these questions with you there if possible.

And do you know whether it is already time to apply a seat for this workshop?

Re: Moog in "Fox on the run"

by the way, I've read that the synth originally was used herewith was an ADSR-ARP. It was used just the once for recording purposes by the original band.
But your question was how to emulate this ARP sound by a Mini Moog, or?
If so, I'll try it, please wait a while.

external CV via red input jack

I'm thinking to use external control voltages with the Voyager. The Voyager red TRS jacks supplying +5V on the ring. Would it be possible to feed a CV into the Voyager, e.g. from an Etherwave plus Theremin, by using a "mono" connector with only Tip and Sleeve instead of a TRS type (Tip-Rin...

Re: Where's my Iridiscent Moog Sticker?

Hi Eric, thank you for your comprehensive reply about your rack. Now I realized that your 3 Foogers only have 4 wooden cheeks instead of 6. Do you know whether the rackmount kit described with the "all in one" solution on the Moog page, Moogerfooger section, may accept the foogers as they ...

Re: Ribbon Controller

many thanks for the replies and the suggestions. I've contacted Psionic Soundworks already and I'm going to purchase a 500mm 2 voltage unit which offers me position-VCO controlling and a kind of triggering using the VCA by the other voltage derived by the pressure sensitivity. Does anybody knows how...

Ribbon Controller

I would like to expand my Voyager by a ribbon controller. My old one (model 1150) suits nicely with my Mini Moog D but cannot be used directly with the Voyager (S-trigger and rear Mini Moog power supply). Is there any ribbon controller available which I could combine with the Voyager? I've seen phot...
