Topic: How much background hiss should a Voyager make?

By any chance are you listening through headphones vs using the main outs and monitors? I have noticed that the headphone outs seem much more "hissy" than the main outs. Also, are you hearing this noise with a heavily filtered bass sound? I have a relatively early (SN#1255) Performer which...

Nige-

I am located in the USA, near Phoenix.I am going to call Moog this week and ask specifically about cable lengths. I am not too afraid of the field upgrade otherwise, I used to try to deal with a CS-80. This should be cake in comparison.....!

Back to the upgrade subject for a minute- I read in older posts people having problems with cables reaching the new, smaller board. Is this still a problem?? I have an older (SN 1255) Performer, it would make me nervous to be putting cables under tension.....

Updating to 3.2 with MacBook Pro

The new MacBook Pro completely blows my old TiBook out of the water, but with regard to the Vger it presents a problem: Normally us MacFolk use SysexLibrarian to update the Vger's OS, but SysexLibrarian so far does not seem to work in the new Intel Macs...I'll keep trying. Has anyone been able to up...

Future-Retro is coming out with an expander module this summer that looks like it will work very well with the Voyager....I had a chance to play the prototype, it sounded great! (disclaimer- I am not associated with them in any way)

Hence my original question. Not knowing anything about synth design or EE, I am pretty sure if it were a software issue it would have been fixed awhile ago. Since it "appears" to be a hardware issue (and a fairly egregious one at that) my guess is that Moog are working on it. I get by with...

Voyager Aftertouch fix?

Has anyone heard anything official about a hardware modification to fix the aftertouch response (making it smoother, less on/off) of the Voyager keyboard?

Putrid: I would love to see a pic of that tattoo! Regarding all the merch stuff: There are so many companies out there who will take your logo and put it on things, that I am sure MoogMusic Inc., really didn't waste much R&D effort to do this. Some of the stuff looks a bit cheezoid to me, but I ...

OK. I admit, we had a... This spring we released program for Mac OX that turned to be a lemon. That project was too ambitious and we released it to soon. We've got hammered for it and righteously so, but this was the only one mailing list and one time blunder. You may check other lists:: Multiple K...

Currently I am thinking of adding an extra VCO-VCF-EG-VCA, as well as some interesting control modules, like a Ring Mod or signal processing. I am leaning toward synthesizers.com stuff because of the form factor (1/4 plugs) and price. I also kinda like the Doepfer stuff and all their variety, but wo...
